  1. Haha! I am doing nectar pink grapefruit mixed in Water because I knew I had to get Protein in during clear liquid phase. Once I clear that tub, I will be getting a flavor that mixes well with milk! LoL! Yes, the yogurt and apple sauce and sugar free chocolate pudding are SO awesome! Haha! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Do you have a Vitamin Shoppe close? They have similar stuff to GNC. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. I'm sure a little salt and pepper and cheese wouldn't hurt. I was also sleeve 6/17, but will be starting this on Tuesday. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. Diet V8 Splash (Berry Blend is really good), V8 fusion Light (I got strawberry banana), cream Soups (98% fat free), greek yogurt is good for Protein and is also a thick liquid. What Protein powder or shake are you using? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. And if you get these and remove it, make sure you wash your hands! They warned me about this before surgery that if you touch your eyes, it dilates them, just like you had an eye exam. I had to laugh at my anesthesiologist, though because my surgeon was telling me people would call him 3 days after (we only had to wear them for 3 days) and said they were going blind and my anesthesiologist said, "But I don't care because I look good!" LoL! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. The fudge ones saved me! I had one a day! Just something different. I started cream Soups on day 10, which I'm not too big of a soup person, so I had them every once in a while. The same stuff does get old after a while! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. I am not taking Bariatric Advantage of anything. At my post-op, the dietician said for me to add a B-Complex, which also takes care of the B-12 (has 1500mcg instead of just 1500mcg, so you get a little more), which is a twofer. I found this in liquid form at Wal-Mart and it doesn't taste too horrible. I started all supplements on day 7 and I will add my Calcium+Vitamin D at week 4. The chewable of anything is what you should be having. I broke the rule on the Iron, though. After 4 days of chewing the iron, I couldn't do it anymore and found some gel iron pills (my doc has no issue with me taking gel caps), which have NO taste and I'm not dreading the iron! LoL! I have attached a pic of my supplements that I take. Hope this helps! I will be 2 weeks post-op tomorrow and have been okay with all of these. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. Do you have you some sugar free popsicles and/or sugar free fudgesicles? Those really saved me! I was so excited to get to the apple sauce and pudding on day 10, I was counting down the days! LMAO! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. I was sleeved June 17th in Slidell by Dr. James Redmann. So glad I switched WL surgeons! Couldn't have asked for a better one! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  10. I can imagine they are pretty nasty with Water but to each their own! I kept that in mine for the "early stages" of post op, so got Nectar's pink grapefruit, which would be a good flavor mixed with water. Their strawberry mousse, not so much! LoL! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  11. I mix mine with Water. I know, probably doesn't sound too appetizing, but I haven't attempted with milk yet. I did enjoy them pre-op with milk, though, but the flavors I had pre-op were not very tasty with water! Try that and see if that helps. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  12. Are you mixing with milk or Water? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. I only had a one day clear liquid diet. I had to take a course online and it was part of the handout that I printed out. It said in bold, "clear liquids the day before surgery." Every place is different, but to be sure, contact your surgeon's office and ask. If it is only one day, it isn't too bad! I have seen where some have been on 2 week pre-ops and I praise them because I think I would have gone nuts! LoL! Sent from my iPhone using VST

  15. I was actually sleeved on June 17th. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks for me. So far, for me at least, this has been such an EASY recovery! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  16. Good luck to everyone! I'll not too far from y'all! I'm in Lacombe, LA (Slidell area). Sent from my iPhone using VST
  17. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and be able to say what they want. No need to apologize! Some responses to your stuff were completely uncalled for. You were lashed out against just for giving your views/experiences, which is ridiculous. Everyone has different experiences/insight/advice on things, which is why this a SUPPORT site, not a BASHING site. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  18. I only had to do clear liquids the day before and obviously nothing after midnight or the day of surgery. So, I'm pretty sure it won't be too bad if you "messed up" one out if 3! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  19. Pre-op? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  20. For me it is week 5, but everyone is different... Sent from my iPhone using VST
  21. Day 5 for me, but there will probably be thousands of different answers. LoL!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  22. You can do sugar free popsicles, Jello, and Crystal Light. I did the same thing with the broth and wanted to gag! I only had a one day clear liquid and I believe it is to clear everything out so you are "clean" for surgery. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  23. You're very welcome! Glad I could help and glad it was just gas and that you are feeling much better! Sent from my iPhone using VST
