Everything went fabulous. Surgery was at 0830, i remember being wheeled to the OR but not getting there. Then I remember someone telling me to scooch onto the Operating Table. Then it was 230 pm and I was scooching to walk. Started walking about 3pm and have mede like 30 laps around this floor. I am starving, since they are only giving me ice chips. And my son sits beside me eating an italian hero hot fries and a pepsi.

Congrats how are you feeling?? I have had 4 cups of ice chips and have walked around the floor about 7 times already.

Congrats to you!! Sluggish or sleepy? Whatever they gave me in recovery is knocking me right out. I can fall out on a dime. I have been getting up and going to the restroom alone and will be able to walk alone too!

Ok so i had he surgery today. Mouth is KKKKerrazzy dry. Teeth sticking to my lips, something's gotta give. Driving me bananas. Have already gone through 4 cups of ice chips and walked around the floor 3X. Sleeping on and off. I see 4 incisions The one that my stomach was pupped through is very very swollen. I had lost 10.8 lbs pre-op but on one of my walking rounds, we found a scale. I am 9 lbs heavier!

I am so sorry to hear about your situation, that just sucks! I hope you find an employer worthy of your skills and willing to sho their appreciation. Where are you from?? Unfortunately more and more companies are doing this. Lately it seems this type of behavior is encouraged by some.

Thanks for the inquiries. The hospital can have some stop by to sit with him a bit, but he doesnt want the help. Today I had to have cortisone shots in my neck and one of the nurses gad the sleeve done in july. She came out and sat with my son ans spoke with him. He felt much better after hearing her story and seeing how good she looked. Thank you for the well wishes. Waiting on the hosp to call with my surgery time for tomorrow.

My brother has 2 sons that he cares for on a daily basis so I didnt want to put him out. I am going to ask a close friend to peak in on him to make sure he is ok. Thank you!

Thank you gamegirl, you are 100% right. I know in my heart this is the right decision. It is my son's uncertainty that has me worried for him. I have a very close friend that I will ask to peak in on him while I am under. I did tell him that I could give the nurses his number so he could go somewhere instead of sitting at the hospital but he refused and said he would be there. I just wish I could make this easy for him, he does NOT do well under stress. The night before surgery we will sit and go over coping strategies so he isnt too stressed. I hope it works. And I have the same belief, that I cant really cheat death, it will happen no matter what I do or where I am. I just choose not to go in the ground in a piano case if I can help it! LOL
