I called the NUT and she said seeing her qualified as a well documented WL program. I had a couple of blank sheets of daily logs for exercise and food journal so I enlarged them at work and made 90 copies to document EVERYTHING! And my 3 months will be up 9/21. I did end up canceling my gastro and pulmo appts till the 3 months are up. Thanks all for the advice. I feel much much better

Now this concerns me. Does his include showering too?? ???????? -
I am not post op, but I just received my Unjury protein shake order, and they have a 'chicken soup' that is really good with zero aftertaste.

Explain head-hunger?
ejsfanatic replied to need2bthin!'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Of course that assumption is wishful thinking on my part. I am starting my diet tomorrow. I have to lose at least 12 lbs before surgery. I am still a long way off from scheduling a date as I still have to see the pulmo and gastro docs. I am super nervous that I will be turned away as unsuitable. My head is playing all kinds of tricks on me! -
Explain head-hunger?
ejsfanatic replied to need2bthin!'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The doctor didn't say the hunger would be taken away totally. That was the assumption I made when she said the part of the stomach that Produces the hormone would be the part they removed. -

I am new here but need clarification as well. I was told that the part of the stomach that is removed is the part that releases the 'cravings' hormone. So if you are no longer producing the hormone you wont experience the cravings??
