You can repeat it every four hours. They even have tongue strips.

    Insomnia!?!?

Benadryl 30 ml at bedtime. I buy it at the dollar store. It also helps with nausea.
  3. Say " yeah I was missing you so much I couldn't eat."
  4. Zofran never worked for me at all. Phenergan is better. Ask for suppositories incase you can't get down a pill.
  5. Guess you could try a prune flavored yogurt. Yum yum.

    Geez - Like I DIDN"T already know that ?

Remember the payroll dept typically are just clerks with highschool educations. They will let you send your money anywhere you like no questions asked.

My parents do financial stuff for a living and it has tax ramifications if you do. It also varies by state. Its best to check with a tax person or financial advisor. Employers don't always know the rules. For example they let my hubby overcontribute to three seperate funds and his previous tax person didn't tell him legally you can't do that and now he has a big tax penalty.
  9. I think the complainers should just go be by themselves.

There's a lot of conflicting information out there. I just don't want people to think its not ok to drink water. It is much better than drinking artificially sweetned drinks. Too many chemicals. Sun tea with fresh lemons or sliced oranges is also really good.

    3 months op and preg

Hang in there. Remember its better to be a fabulous single mom than be in a dysfunctional relationship with a sperm donor. I got divorced 7 years ago and thought my life was over. I am now remarried almost 1 year to an amazing man who loves my daughter like his own. You and your precious baby deserve better! It will happen!
  13. I had sever hyperemesis with my daughter for the entire 9 months. In and out of the hospital and I even went in to kidney failure for 5 days. Needless to say I had a very healthy 9 pound baby girl who is now 12. What helped me was licking the salt off fritos chips and crushing up popsicles into slushies. As for meds I took reglan 10mg three times a day along with phenergan suppositories. About the 7th month it got alittle better for me but it still kinda lingered. We are getting ready to try for another and I've been worried about this since I just got sleeved.
  14. Hmmm. I know its limited coverage but its different for everyone. Some have copays and some don't. Can you call your caseworker and ask?
  15. My band is out and sleeved for 2 weeks. I'm walking 15 min two or three times a day. What I notice is no electrical shocks from the port. I love being able to swallow water without choking on it like I did with the band so I can bring along a water bottle.

You just can't contribute to your 401k while you are paying back the loan. But it is a very good way to fund this surgery if you are out of other options. I hope this helps!
  17. Yes they do around halloween. Amazing.

This is a very dangerous thread. The original poster stated she was on blood pressure meds at the time. Considering she also required potassium supplement with the bp med I assume it was a combo bp diuretic which means it was half a Water pill. That alone can cause significant electrolyte imbalances. For 20 years I worked as a certified emergency room nurse. I have never once seen anyone come in with an electrolyte disturbance because they drank 64 ounces of water. That is 8 glasses 8 ounces each. That is recommended for everybody not just wls patients. Suggesting people take additional potassium is dangerous if they are on medications that affect potassium. Some drugs retain potassium. Adding in gatorade may seem harmless but its not for everybody. The people who have been treated for too much water are those with congestive heart failure or SIADH or diabetes insipdus or dialysis patients. Please take a moment to inquire with your treating medical team before taking any "medical" advice on this or any other site. I know its well meaning but doesn't mean it can't harm someone.
