So Im not yet at any stage going tomorrow to speak to the doctor about banding but have gathered enough info i feel to make a decision!!!! The liquid stage sounds really scary and a true challenge!!!! I too am sick of yoyo dieting and just need a long term thing I need something like the band to disipline me and make me eat small sizes. This is it Im taking the plunge. All I ask from everyone who reads this that has been banded is ANY REGRETS??????????

Thanks for the feedback how are you finding it any regrets?

Thats my delema i dont even want to tell my parents who see me everyday incase i fail and then there is the issue of one of my sisters who has the biggest mouth my mother will feel the need to tell her and it will end up on the front page of the enquirer!!!!!! I also need support!!! so Im in a pickle. I have discussed it with my mom and husband and younger sister ive even told a couple of my friends what Im planning to do but i think when it comes to the time i might just keep it a secret. I to dont want to be judged after all im doing this for me and me only and do not need people watching my every move and I really believe that that will be the case. I really need to think long and hard and i suggest you do to cos as its already been said once you tell you cant untell and thats the hardest part. Good luck in what ever you choose to do!!

I for one forget sometimes about my wonderful family and how lucky iam to have them around.... No matter what the reason we decide to get banded just know that you are you and you are loved by the ones closest to you for just being YOU
SMILE AND HAVE A NICE DAY:rolleyes:

I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP:help::help::help::help: I need to know that this is the right thing to do and that it does work if you work at it. Just reading alot of your posts and you seem so excited about the surgery Im a little scared!!! Need some feedback good and bad which should help me with this decision to go ahead and see a Lapband Doctor.
I need to loose about 150+ pounds so any success stories or even not so successful ones will be helpful Its such a life changing decision, to break those eating habits ive had for 28 years seems sooooooo scary and hard but it is something that needs to be done..!!
you can reply via my Journal
THANKS

Just reading the posts and find it sad that some of us get on our "high horses" to those who have questions dumb or not!!!
:biggrin1:(No one in particular either just in general!!!)We are still just learning and I m sure we have all been through that stage. I for one will be there to answer any questions silly or not when i have got the knowledge behind me. I am not yet banded and am in the process of doing so. I do want to thank those of you that have really truly helped me make the decision with your experiences which is all i have to go on. No doctor who hasnt had the band no matter how many they have done can tell me the true side of it only you can those of you who live with it everyday,!! hence why im on this website. Even when i may of asked what has seemed like stupid questions at times. You guys were there to answer them and make me feel like that this journey is one that i must take but not alone.
so THANKS:rolleyes::car:
