  1. Does anyone know of any liquid vitamins? Since we are required to drink so many liquids, this may help with vitamin absorption. I'm not a big pill swallower and I'm hearing a lot of people saying they are having problems taking vitamins.
  2. Oh. Please use an app perhaps Jeff Galloway app. This will help you complete it with a run/walk program
  3. Hello. I agree that you should start small and then graduate to a full marathon. I completed a few 5ks and a couple of 10ks last year and the beginning of this year and I will complete my first HALF MARATHON on December 7 2013. Reward yourself with small victories first. A marathon 26.2 miles is horrendous. I'm not saying you can't do it but its very difficult. Also keep in mind that you half to maintain a certain pace the entire time or the police will stop your run. I know first hand. The city can only block off the streets for a certain amount of time. I completed a marathon relay in march and was the last one to finish. The police trailed me the whole way. I was 4th leg and 8 miles. Most marathons you only get 6-7 hours to complete it. I say make that a long term goal and start small. You'll eventually get there. Good luck!!
  4. I agree. I don't take this lightly either BUT have you heard all if the ongoing side effects and risks from a lot of the medication we take. REALLY? We are/were killing ourselves daily by eating poorly and abusing this temple of our body. Be comfortable with your decision. The way I see it, I am a spiritual/religious person and when God is ready for me, he'll take me.
  5. Cheri, You look amazing and my gosh so shapely! I bet you didn't know you had a waiste line like that! lol I hope I have some sort of shape under all of this. That is my biggest fear that I am still going to look like a wide box. Thanks again and congrats on your journey and your bundle of joy.
  6. How did you appt go with Ray? I should have given my name to you. He doesn't even know I am having surgery. LOL We have a very small family so I am sure he figured it out. I was going to have him do mine but he's so far away. Good Luck! You are in great hands.

  16. I am pre-planning ahead. My sleeve date is August 7. I am sure I would want a TT and a breast lift and I haven't decided on a fat transfer to butt yet but possibly a butt lift. I'm sure I can't afford it in the US but perhaps Tiajuana because my sister lives on San Diego. Any suggestions specifically in Tiajuana?
  17. I am preop and preparing for my grocery list and favorite variety of protein shakes. I am going to spend the next 10 days trying different ones. I start my preop liquid diet July 25. So far I have tried muscle milk. I can live with that one. I want a variety as I get bored easily. I will try the one from Costco everyone is talking about. Please feel free to keep recommending drinks. This is going to be a long 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after!
  18. I feel like its nobody's business even your boss's. you are not required to tell them what you had only HR. and they are not allowed to disclose it. I am absolutely not telling anyone at work. They think I'm having some fibroids removed which I am. So I'm not saying anything else. They also know I'm seeing a nutritionist and also training for a triathlon so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Just my immediate family and closest friends know. My date is August 7
  19. I am from Charlotte. My Dr. Is Dr. Carl Lowe. He is awesome!
