I am so glad you are doing this! Just one week post-op, so my losses are minute, but this is a great thing to see for someone who is not dropping 21 lbs in a week! Thank you!

Hello - i had the Lap Band surgey over two years ago loss around 80lbs had lots of problems they had to remove. They removed the band and my surgeon performed the sleeve last year around this time. i have not see a lot of weight loss nor have i been great at watching myself due to taking care of my sick elderly parents - lots of stress. Need to get back on track is it possible??? Appreicate guidance or any feedback.
You can do it! This site is great for support!

follow all Water rules
30 minutes - don't drink before eating
never drink during meal (people have been shot for less!)
don't drink for about 45-60 minutes after you eat
get at least 64 oz of H20 a day
Why are the Water rules so important? Does drinking with meals stretch out the sleeve? (Not to dismiss the rest of the message--I really love what you had to say, Kathy!)

i know how you feel lol I'm pre op and can't stand yogurt.Lol...When you're in this stage, you can totally call on me and I will do what I can to talk you out of cheating. Although your will power is probably stronger than mine

You should be fine but this is a serious surgery and should be taken seriously' date=' eating foods you shouldn't increase your chances of complications.[/quote']Makes sense. I am not proud of myself. Just really sick of yogurt.
Thank you!

Your new tummy can't feel the restriction yet because it's swollen and trying to heal, that's why taking things to fast can cause damage. Go read some of the horror stories about some of the folks who took it to fast. It's not worth it.
What are some of the horror stories?

Where did all this hunger come from?

I'm so glad you brought this up because I feel cheated too! I was told the hunger would subside but I DO feel hungry! Sometimes taking an antacid helps, but also, we're on much lower calorie diets. Some hunger seems natural. That's why I think we should really try to hit around 1200 Calories a day.
