Now, 2x4, why would your pain and misery make me feel better? I am glad I'm not you though.
OK so, with y'all's blessings, I am changing my ticker. It will probably go back up in two days when I'm able to eat again, but it will be nice in the meantime to see the mermaid get a teensy bit closer to that sunset.

Hi there. I went alone in mid-July and would be happy to share my experience with you. PM me.

No problem. Let me know how it works. I haven't tried it myself but it's what I feed kittens who are being weaned. I like to think of all of us here as newborns of a sort. That sounds like a good idea. I haven't thought of that. Thank you.

From my understanding, the consensus seems to be whenever you're feeling up for it (so to speak). But, as Arts137 said, do go slow and be mindful.

You look like a naughty librarian with those glasses in your hand. LOL Curvy, gorgeous, LOVE the bangs! Keep on keepin' on, SoCal!

No fair, Pretty Chica! i think it's time to tell your SO that if he (or she) doesn't start to put out, you're going to invest in some very loud toys.I feel the same way... The one I have has no interest.

Then again, it could just be bigcountryab's new profile pic:
I told him if he'd had his glasses on, he'd have been a shoo-in for the Playgirl Big Bang Theory desk calendar!

If I didn't have so much work this week, I would go with you SeaGirl! I'm not even kidding. I was just in Mexico for mine and I would love to accompany you now that your "confi-don't" has bailed. I can tell you this: I was there by myself and was absolutely fine. Plus, I positively relished the alone time at the hotel. Be glad that you won't have to take care of your friend while you're there (as it sounds from your post, you would have had to).
If you haven't already, join the 2013 Mexico Sleevers group on Facebook and post throughout your surgery experience. You will find tons of support there!

I feel you, Disco! No matter how small I've been, it always looks like my lower tummy has a boner. A "FUPA," as the kids are calling it nowadays. I call it my "belly-rection". My pants literally hang off of it, even when they've gotten so loose in the butt and thighs I'd swear they were about to drop. When I push it in with my hands, it changes my entire physique and I don't even look heavy anymore. I'm so sick of carrying fat there, if the pooch is still there when I'm at goal, it's off to the surgeon I go!

Yup! My libido, too, has been MIA for years and now not even 3 weeks post-op, well, it's making up for lost time! Now, to find someone (or two, or three) to share it with....

Ew. There are people with PhDs working at McDonald's, Vitamin Shoppe. Don't tell me you didn't have any better candidates!

I'm thinking when people ask me what I'm doing to lose weight, my line will be, "The opposite of everything I did to get fat!" and if anyone who knows about my surgery dares corner me with, "You took the easy way out," my response shall be, "Yep, just like my mom did with her cancer by choosing two years of chemo and radiation. She could have just gone vegan and smoked pot."

I'm curious why it is that responding to posts results in automatic following of said posts, but responding to blog posts does not. Many times I have responded to people's blog posts and not even realized they then posted a response to my response. Yes, I am aware it's just a matter of clicking the "Follow" button in the corner, but I'm wondering why following isn't the default as it is with regular thread posts.
Will this be changed with the merger?
