so how long is everyone taking off?

I'm pre-op, need to lose weight before I can have surgery in December. cw-521 Thanksgiving - 496

I know believing that you will fail is the easier outcome to believe, because that is what has happened in the past, but that is what it is the past. For me I'm taking my fears of failure and my fear of success and leaving them where they belong, in the past. I am 39, for my entire adulthood I have been obese. I am currently 521 pounds , I'm having surgery in December, but in 5 month and 4 days I will turn 40, my goal is to be down to at least 450. I know that 71 pounds is a lot in that timeframe, and if I am not there by then, but gave it my all then I have succeeded. So that's my 2 cents for whatever it's worth. Now who do I pay for my therapy session. lol

You flu shots are mandatory. I got a flu shot once and sick, I've never got one since.

well are you 9 weeks or 9 months post op, I'm pre op but for what I understand maybe it's because you were eating it with the liquid of the milk and eating fast, when you eat protein like meat can you eat as much?

I like Atkins Advantage in dark chocolate and milk chocolate, don't like French vanilla my mom did tho. I tried the strawberry banana in the Atkins day break it had a strange texture to me. I tried one Core ready to drink wasn't my favorite. Not tried any powder shakes only rtd.

My doc requires me to lose around 70 pounds I have lost 42 since June 18th. Mainly stopping regular soda and cutting out carbs.

I have a new NSV as of today I'm a great aunt again, I'm looking forward to doing so many more things with her that I miss out on because of my weight, surgery in December as she grows i'll be shrinking...

I see that a lot of people have to have a EDG, I ask my doctor and I don't said the only tests I need is blood work closer to December.

Talked to my surgeon's office and they're getting all the paperwork sent to my insurance for approval.....now I wait. )
