Got my surgery date...August 14th. I still have some weight to loose before then. I'm going on the pre- op liquid diet ahead of time. I have 8lbs. to loose.

I'm getting nervous but excited because I just got the call that my insurance approved my surgery. I have to go for pre op labs this Monday. How soon after will surgery be scheduled?

How was your surgery? I'm going through IU Bariatric now. Getting really to have labs done July 8th

I'm suppose to be on the liver reduction diet for the 6 months of supervised weight loss. I was able to maintain my original weight until my 6th class where I gained 8 lbs. Honey, my surgeon isn't playing that gain weight game. Glad he went ahead and scheduled me to start my labs but the 8 lbs better be down my the end of July. So, I guess I better get on board.

New to the process and the forum. I've choose IU and completed my 6th class and met with my surgeon today. Waiting on pre op testing to take place...then scheduling surgery.

I have. My seem to maintain my weight for 5 months of the 6 month SWL classes. I meet with . My surgeon on the 25th of June and I've gained 6 lbs. Boy am I nervous.

I actually had my last meeting in May and now on the 25th of June, I'll meet with the surgeon. Completely nervous!!

I completed all of my scheduled weight loss classes as of May. I meet with my surgeon again this month (June 25th). I'm extremely nervous because I've gained 6lbs. How in the world will I get that off?
