  3. Hi!! I was sleeved on June 26,2013. I went to Duke Raleigh where Dr. Phillip Omotosho performed my surgery. Dr. Yoo is a great surgeon also affiliated with Duke. They also both do surgeries in Duke Regional as well. Google Duke Metabolic Weight Loss for more details abt the seminar and meeting the doctor. I had a very pleasant experience with my doctor.

  6. I am not Caribbean, but my mother in law is!! She made me Calilou and Lentils for my mushy foods, I was in heaven!! Now that I am seeing that u r eating. Salt fish a light bulb has went off think Ill get her to make me some! To bad I can't have the bake!

  10. Don't buy the shoes unless u remember what u used to wear before u were heavier! In my smaller days I wore 1 shoe size less thn now

  12. No not @ all, I went to my pre op appt today and they said nothing abt it, I even tld them that my "ring" wld be in @ the time of surgery n they said nothing. Do u or did u smoke?

  16. So I am here @ the dr office 1 week and a day before my surgery and I just feel like I am all over the place! I watched the video with all of the risks n possible complication that can go on during or after surgery, n although the risks were all rare it got me thinking.... "What have I gotten myself into?!! Then I hve to tke a breath n regroup!! Ok, I'm back!! Spoke to the nurse n that part of it was not too bad, now I am waiting to speak to the surgeon. I'm glad I took the day off because its a lot to process all @once!! I'm just really ready for this to b over... #NoTurningBackNow
