  1. Are y'all getting on the scale everyday? If so why??? If your on a stall take the batteries out of the scale and throw them across the street. If you keep seeing that stall every morning when you step up on the scale it's going to keep you discouraged. I weighed Sunday for the first time in two week. Keep off the scale!

  2. I was sleeved on the 15th and have nothing but great things. Not once have I got sick from a food. Im onto eating whatever i want now but i dont. Ive had a teaspoon of frozen yogurt here or there or a nibble of mac and cheese but food doesnt taste near as good as it use to. And there is no way in hell i can eat 6 times a day. I ate 3 times today and twice yesterday. Im just not hungry. There has been a couple days where I felt I wasn't drinking anything at all but seems to of worked out ok. I start back tomorrow and I'm so ready. I thought a month off was going to be great! Not so much, I'm so bored! Down 40lbs so excited about that.

  3. I still have trouble eating and I'm a month out. I'm just not really hungry. food doesn't seem to be as good as it once was. I had some mashed potatoes today for lunch and some tuna for supper. I have no idea how anyone eats 6 times a day like we are suppose to. Sometimes I can sneak in a Jello with fruit or a sugar free Popsicle but not very often. I had the smell of food really get to me a few days ago. Gf's kids had some whataburger and omg it was smelling good. So far everything I have put in my mouth has stayed down. Nothing has made me sick. I actually haven't been sick since I left the hospital. Hang in there

  4. Thanks so much....so it doesn't mean I'm overdoing it...its just a signal telling me to stop I'm done....well I guess if that is the case thats kind of cool to have a warning beforehand....

I read on here the other day a couple of the sleepers sneeze when they are full. Guess we all have our little signs.

  5. Ok family' date=' I am a week out and I am now able to have pureed foods...YAYYYY....last night I went on a bariatric website and checked out my binder to get a feel of exactly what I could start to eat. So this morning I had thin grits, lunch was a strawberry banana Protein shake, and for dinner my 12 year old daughter cooked; she has been doing this to help me out and is very good at it; but dinner was turkey wings in a mushroom gravy, and mashed potatoes; I took pieces of the meat that fell off of the turkey wings in the gravy mashed it up and with each bite mixed it with the potatoes and gravy and mashed it some more. It went down real smooth no complications made sure the portion was so small and mussy that it looked like there was a baby in the house' But it was so yummy....The only thing that I can say that I notice is that after breakfast and dinner I got the hiccups...nothing hurt and I pretty much got the same gas pain that I get when I sip on my Fluid...so I assumming that this is normal if anyone else has this same type of experience please let me know...[/quote']

When I get the hiccups that usually means I'm full. Happens every time.

  6. Omg me too I am worried that im over eating' date=' im able to eat about 4 oz without any pain or discomfort. Should I worry soes anyone have any suggestions for us[/quote']

Any issues the past month? I noticed this thread was a bit old but I'm the same way. I jumped stages a couple days early and have had zero problems. I drink nice large mouthfuls of liquid with no problems. I'm eating with no problems. I don't think I'm eating more than the 4-6 ounces that I was told to eat but I'm not having issues with anything. I've actually ate a few bites of things I'm really not suppose to.

  7. Well surgery was 25 days ago today! Wow already....I tried to eat a little price of hamburger dipped in ketchup today....a few cheese puffs....and watermelon....everything was great even though I knew maybe u shouldn't be eating this already! But it was a BBQ so I figured a quarter size amount would not kill me! Big mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was SO sick alllllllll day! Not ready for this yet I don't think! But close!

I was sleeved 11 days ago and everything so far goes down great. Haven't really tried much though. All liquids go down good. Yogurt is good. Has gnocchi Soup yesterday at Olive Garden for lunch and the left overs for supper. All good. Kids made homemade corn dogs and Mac and cheese for lunch. Took two nibbles of the cornbread breaking and tasted a noodle to make sure it was done. I defiantly fill a heaviness in my tummy even though it was two tiny nibbles but I feel ok. So far so good. And down 28lbs in 11 days post op!

  8. I have a question for the sleevers who are 3 weeks out or more. I really want to go to a football game but its only 3 weeks after my sleeve date. Do you guys think I'll be ok to go? How did you feel at 3 weeks?

I think the question is, how do you feel 3 weeks out? If your not up for it don't go. I was walking on the beach two days after my surgery in Mexico. I'm 8 days out now and wanna go to work because I'm going crazy just sitting around the house. I don't feel any restrictions myself.

  9. sugar free pudding. Low sugar pudding pops. Even if its a little will make him feel better. Or non fat vanilla geek yorgart

I am ready for this stuff but still a couple days out. I don't think I'm gonna make it. The mornings and afternoons aren't bad, it's the evenings. I really get hungry. I've been having nothing but broth, sugar free Popsicles, and Water. I'm don't with broth. I'm just about done with Popsicles. Going to a Mexican restaurant tonight with some friends I really wish I could have some refried beans!

  10. Having a hard time sleeping using the washroom an keeping down my meds an Water surgery date was 8/15/13

I was sleeved on 8/15 at 8:00am. As soon as I woke up from surgery I was in pain. It was by far the worst pain I've ever had from the gas. I had the horrible pain for about 14 hours. I could drink anything until the next day at 2pm. I git no sleep in the hospital. I am out and at the hotel until I fly home tomorrow. I feel great today. Ate some yummy broth and did some shopping in Tijuana. Feeling pretty good. It's a rough start but gets so much better.
