My grandmas name was Sunshine! She lived up to it too! My surgery date is July 2nd in Mexico! So excited to start this journey. So tired of kicking myself daily!

I'm telling my clients that I'm having a hernia fixed. I'm telling my co-workers the truth. They know how I eat and will notice the pre-op diet. I don't think I care if people know when I start losing. It's a personal choice, and I don't want to explain myself. The people I work with have been very supportive.

My surgery is scheduled for July 2nd. I'm a hairdresser, and I drink water constantly. I can't see that it's going to be a problem. I am only taking ten days off. Is that a reasonable amount of time?

I'm going to Mexico next month. Having all the posts about the Mexico experience have really helped. I know five women from my town (pop. 4,000) who went and are thrilled with the experience there.

July 2nd with Dr. Garcia in Tijuana. Can't wait to start this new adventure! My husband is going with me. Has anyone been told approximate down time? I mad only taking 10 days off. Is that enough?

My surgery isn't until July 2nd. Reading the hair loss stories kind of freaks me out. I will tell you that I'm a hairdresser, and I've recommended Redken Intraforce hair care for my clients that have thinning hair. I've noticed a remarkable turn around for them. Worth a try. I'm going to order the liquid Biotin ASAP.

I am also 5'3" and weigh 220. I don't want to get below 140. I just look and feel better at that weight. I am scheduled for surgery July 2nd. Can't wait!

I've only told my closest friends because I don't want the lecture. When the others start to notice the weight loss I will tell them. Most of my friends have been very supportive.
