Sorry dumb thing goofed up on me.

Hmmmmm that is a great list. Different from the ones I've seen here but still outstanding. Could you be burning lean muscle and not fat?

In contrast to what was said before, I've seen too many stories of doctors' getting off and it hurt patients. See Charles Cullen (nurse) and also Christopher Duntsch. You can't expect the medical boards or the profession to police itself. With all due respect, lawyers aren't going to take a case unless they make $$$ out of it. I've heard it enough to know its true. I am so very very sorry for you. As a surgeon I had turned out to be not what I expected after, I am glad that you got at least the chance to figure out beforehand about him. There are legal agreements in my area about no care once you are in a group so you'd be tossed by the way side if you have complications, possibly. Let us know how it goes. I am SO pulling for you.

Actually there isn't a scientific basis for the starvation mode theory. Its just one of the things I read not that long ago and pointed out on another thread. What type of mix in terms of Protein, fat, and carbs, are you drinking?

Why not decaf?

People are used to larger sizes. Hence it can be different looking at someone when they weighed more. Not saying wrong or bad or right just saying ...

All good suggestions but what about drinking some Water? Getting up and going for a walk? Things that take your mind off food? What you appear to be experiencing is head hunger, not real hunger correct?

The rest of us not on the 2 week long diet will be pulling or praying for or wishing you the best - each according to his method. Lots of people pulling for you.

Great post! I'm more worried about eating and getting healthy than I am the weight. The doctors worry about the weight. That's why I'm not well ... they're either not worried when they should be because they don't know what they're looking at or don't know how to figure it out because they're so stuck on weight they don't get the symptoms. -

LOL my GI system is so bad I dont dare try it any way. -
I think someone posted about 60 grams or getting less causes muscle wasting. I've seen people get lower than that and be ok, so I was wondering if any one has seen the studies on that. Just curious.

What do you miss most after Weight Loss Surgery?
swimbikerun replied to Menelly's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm sure the pizza joints already did that the year before I surgery. We had a year long monitored diet. I dropped 30-35 pounds or so. Pizza was one of the things given up but Jason's Deli more than made up for that. LOL. -
Folks Who Have Had Complications
swimbikerun replied to Pegsinthewoods's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am very very relieved to hear that you are doing well. I can imagine many were wondering how you would do. Did they find out what happened? If you find out why it happened, then you know how to prevent it (learn from your mistakes). -

Yes! Way to go! I am happy to not have contributed to the soda $$$ machine any longer. -
Yeah I think you were told wrong because 2 weeks is the most I've seen.

More like at least 50. I do eggs, chicken, and turkey. Not including adding up (even if it is a few pieces) everything in the peas, chickpeas, etc. that I do, and protein packets, its at least 50.

Where are you at in terms of grams?

This is actually normal, having food. It depends on who you go around with. In my case, I work with many Indians (Hindu's) and others with restrictions (Muslims, etc.) so it sort of makes it easy. Granted the Thanksgiving feast was almost every kind of meat, but hey ... once a year ...
