  1. Yeah, I think it would be neat to do an excursion together too. Have any suggestions Ms. Blu?

I think that gadgetlady will be calling people sometime soon for the rest of the payments on the cruise.

    Oh I am sooooooooo excited!!! I can't wait!:clap2:

P.S. It won't be an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini (I am not the brave) but YEP, I am going to sport the kini's!!!

  2. Going to be moving to Highland Village/Lewisville/Double Oak area within the next year it looks like.

Just one comment: "It generally takes at least 2 fills before you feel even moderate restriction." (this isn't true. I lost most of my weight on my first fill, and I only have had another one and it wasn't much extra, I think everyone is different.)

  3. I am so glad my message has reached some people. While on vacation I was talking to a couple that their two shitzu's had the SAME thing happen. They didn't know about the snap away collars either. One shitzu died of strangulation. The other died a week later from not eating and exhaustion from stress. SAAAAAAAAAAD!

  4. Here is the direct store link, talked to her today..... http://www.bestfriendsgeneralstore.com/mm5/merchant.mvc

    Do a search for keepsafe

Lapbanders, If you use the code: wishes you can get 10% off your total, so basically free shipping!

You can get the collars a lot of places. I am not benefiting at all from this, this is just where I went to get mine and she was very nice and offered the 10% for anyone else. I do not know her nor am I in any business with her. Just a place I found that was nice and organized.

  5. Yes, I am better. I sat and cried for awhile in the bath. It really scared me. We ordered ours today (and even ordered spares). But this had me so scared that I am on a mission of sending out information and education!! :)

We have our dogs microchipped for ID but not all vets check them. Someone could just "claim" my dog and the vet would never even check. My vet said that sometimes dogs can have 2 or 3 chips in because no one checked.

I definitely will NOT repeat this mistake. My dogs will have breakaway collars now forever. I was just so surprised that it happened so often. I thought it would be a fluke but it happens a lot. And once they are gone, they are gone. I hope some of you go and get the breakaway collar for your dog or cat. It is worth it to know that this could be prevented and many tears saved.
