Who knew that my butt was so interesting? LMAO (pun intended) So now I am "yellowing". ((sigh)) its been 2 weeks since I have sat on both cheeks. Still "dented" a bit. Nope, no shingles. DH doesn't want shingles. He is going to get it "sand painted". ((sigh))

Ummmm, and I do have a confession to make about the exercise. I started doing "pole dancing" exercise and I LOVE IT. It made me VERY sore for about a month but after that, it was soooooo much fun!!

Yep, I was told to suck down pure orange juice and cranberry juice like it is going out of style!!

Took about 2 weeks for my shoulder pain to go. Felt like a bubble in there! Nothing really much you can do but a heating pad and endure it.

Flinstones Vitamins for me and chewable Vit C from GNC. I also use Nutrient Protein on my hair every day after a shower. And I haven't had any hair loss at all. I have REALLY fine thin hair anyway so I can't afford to lose any of it. As for regular NSAIDs and IBU's.... I do them when I absolutely have to, otherwise it is Tylenol. I will crush them and put them in yogurt or applesauce.

I use my post op picture on the fridge.

I might do that. Where do I get it? Walmart or Walgreens have it? It is actually "dented" and swollen still. It feels "hard" across the bruise area. I always wanted a hard a$$ but not THIS way. :puke:

Awww, thanks. I credit the butt crunches for the shape though. That makes me feel good especially since I gained back 5 lbs. Band is a little loopy lately. Tight one minute, open the next. I think you are right though, I was thinking I had more padding and I would have bounced back up just pissed off rather than writhing in pain at the bottom of the deck steps. Oh, by the way, have I told you that our deck is about 15 feet off of the ground? And THIS bruising was after a week and 1/2!! But wanna know the funny thing? The way I have to sit now (on one cheek) makes me remember the days of not fitting into chairs with arms well (during my heaviest) and having to sit sort of sideways.

Okay, no one better feel sorry for me because I have the best substitute stiff anyone could ask for! I had a terrible day today but then I came home (after 15 hours at work) I had a package waiting for me. I opened it to find a Victoria Secret box with a pretty pink ribbon. I immediately could smell the scent of vanilla and I looooooooove vanilla. DrewsLou, my substitute stiff, got me a whole pamper package from Victoria Secret. Hand lotion, make up bag, shower gel, body lotion, the WORKS!! DrewsLou, you are WONDERFUL!! Thank you so much for the gift! You really made me smile today!

Pure breed dogs have shorter life spans than mutts typically. Each breed comes with unique common "issues". For example, Shitzzus (sp?) have common eye infections, german shephards have hip issues, dalmations have hearing and ear issues, pitbulls can have temperment and protective issues, greyhounds have muscle issues, etc etc. A really small dog and a really large monster size dog generally have shorter lifespans than medium regular size dogs (25-60 lbs). My best advice would be to go to your local pound and look for a mutt puppy. Then research the breed mixes. Find the dog that will hold attention span when you are with them, then that is the one!

Yes it has happened to me before. It is why we set up the subs list. I do understand something happening but I don't get it when they continue to get in the exchanges. It is irritating to me that we are all adults here and that gift should have been bought WEEKS ago and sent so the "oh poor me, I just can't take what I have been through" excuse doesn't sit well with me at all. Sure, I am sad that I didn't get a surprise in the mail when I was supposed to but it really isn't about "getting" the gift that makes me mad. I would be just as happy with a card explaining the situation. Just the lack of responsibility in some people, I swear.
