  2. Just got enough get up n go to post. Surgery went well. The worst part so far is gas cramps. I really psyched myself up for nothing ;0)
  3. Joia I agree! Removing my band was such a relieving surgery. The nurse that just left told me she was sleeved in Jan. She reassured me that everything will be just fine. Now I'm excited!!!!

  5. Well I'm at the hospital in my gown full of nerves! I had the lapband but due to two slips I had it removed in April. I know I'm doing the right thing but why am I so scared?
  6. Can you refrain from sodium? It may be postponed bc they want to make she your heart can handle surgery. Good luck! Try vinegar and water.

  8. You're so close congrats!!! I'm 2 days after you. Please update if possible after surgery.
  9. Anyone have horrible lower back ache during the pre op diet? I'm on Day 3 and I know the headaches are caffeine withdrawal but this painful backache is scaring me. I was a 2-3 day glass of wine drinker. Any ideas? Should I take a Tylenol pm? It feels as if I've slept in bed with a 3 yr old. Help please
  10. It depends on your pre op diet. As for me, it's all liquids for 7 days. No solids but would love to eat some veggies now!
  11. She's pre op. I had a small piece yesterday on day 2 along w a handful of chips. I felt sooooo guilty!!!!!! Don't do it!!!! But if anyone slips up get back on board. It's a mind thing for me. I will try to post a pic of a decaf tea I found to help me.
  12. I concur! Adkins Advantage Milk Choc shakes have really kept my tummy at bay.
  13. Is Tylenol the only medication that's approved during pre op? I'm so in need of Benadryl right now. Day 1 pre op.

  15. I began my liquid diet today and the hardest part for me isn't the hunger it's chewing. I believe the pre op diet shows how we relate to food on an individual basis. It will be a change but not everything will be off limits. Portion control is what I keep hearing from fellow sleeved coworkers. It'll be worth it!!!!
