Just got back from the Rhumatologist. He doesn't think my fatigue is from the fibro. He took blood to check anemia and thyroid, ( including T3 and T4 ,gave me a steroid shot and a prescript for nouvelle. I guess it's kind of like a stimulant. Anyone heard of it? Supposedly there are little side affects. So far I'm just as tired as before the shot. Had some lunch. Will rest a bit and then go visit my folks.

Seeing my rheumatologist tomorrow. The fibro has me so fatigued I can barely walk down the hall at school. I eat about 800 cal a day and my mom thinks I need more food. I see my surgeon Tuesday and will ask about that. I'm just SO tired. I was sleeved June 24 and have lost 35 pounds. I lost a lot before that on high Protein ( mostly liquid) low carb. So I hit a big milestone this week...I've lost a total of 100 pounds!! I've about 50 to go. But I'm SO tired. Wish me luck that the dr has a magic cure tomorrow.

I've never tried that. Sounds hokey but I may have to try it. I wonder if my ins will pay. How do I find one that's not a crazy?

I hope it helps. Pain is such a nasty thing to have to deal with. People who are not on pain don't understand. I've been in pain every day since I was 11 (1962 ). I was run over by a dump truck. Since then I've been in a head-on collision and rear ended by a semi. You could say my body is a reck. I take three different pain MEDS and hope the weight loss will help get me off some of those. I think that's why I get so frustrated when it comes off so slow!! I like want it gone by morning!!

Im 8 weeks out. I have fibromyalia, ostioarthritis , sleep apnea, high blood pressure... I don't take the Mobic because of possibly damage to my tummy and seem to be doing well, however , i havent started teaching my 4 year olds yet! I have been able to drop one of my blood pressure MEDS because it was too low. I'm hoping to get rid of the cpap and take less cymbolta for the fibro. It's always a balancing act.
