So yeah this might sound strange but I need clearance on it because it's a little strange and since I'm starting back at work on Monday I need to figure out how to make it stop or how to help it.
After I eat a meal or a shake I get this noise that starts to come up my throat kind of like like a burp but just like air or something. It sounds like after you wash dishes and the Water goes down the drain.
Why am I hearing this ?

Small hole. Fluids and gases moving up and down through small hole. Voila. Noises that sound like a drain.

I was sleeved on May 24, 2013....first 3 months had bad buyers remorse. It's a lot to figure out and total way of life change. Now, life is good. Down 82 pounds and feel wonderful. Learning everyday what works and what doesn't . I knew if I didn't do this surgery I was going to die. The reward is beyond anything I had ever envisioned. Hope it all works out best for you.

I have only been in maintenance for a month. Trying to figure out what that looks/feels like, and have the "fear" just a little as well... but try not to let it dominate my experience. The other day my husband asked me why I am still hanging around on "that website" and not just doing what I have to do and move on. This was in response to me bitching about how much time and head space I need to dedicate to losing and maintaining... and he just didn't get it. I would love to just live by the seat of my pants, but that train takes me to fat town every time! So there you go. Luckily (yes I said luckily) it has taken me 3 years to get to this weight, and I did take the time to learn somethings that works... Maintenance is 98 percent the same as losing so far....except I am at goal, which is awesome!!!

I could have written every word of your post. It's so hard for non sleevers to understand, but I understand 1000% of what you wrote. I hope to relax and hopefully never regain, but it's constantly on my mind. Maybe it's a good thing?

Nothing taste the same to me. It has been very disappointing trying some of the foods I loved before May 24, 2013. I work for an internal medicine physician and he as no idea why the taste change....makes no sense. Some people on here say after time their taste returned to normal and some haven't. It's jut strange. Wish someone had an answer.

OK, by the time you folks a few weeks out are feeling better and getting a grip on working your sleeves, I should be be in the early miserable weeks of my post-op -- I will be the one in pain, constipated, and trying to get all my Protein and liquid. I hope that all of you on here today will respond to my post and tell me it gets better. I'll look forward to that.

I had sleeve on May 24th. Full liquids now, blended Soups, etc. Haven't had real meat. Basically if it will melt down in my mouth, I'm trying it. I'm down 27# as of today. Last 3 days have felt pretty normal. Found Unjury Protein and by far the best, and I've tried them all, wasn't getting my protein in until I tried Unjury, just couldn't take the others. Now I don't feel like I made a mistake.

Girl, the day before my sleeve, I broke and had a hamburger and a milk shake....just had too. No problems. Would really like one now too, but 8 days out, don't think I will try that.

Hey fellow sleevers ! Went to the movies tonight and I just broke down and ate about a cup of popcorn!! I am on day 6 of 10 did I make a huge mistake !! Was supposed to be on a liquid diet help!!
