Side Effects of Surgery and Supplementation
I am sitting here at 5 months losing 52 lbs. I am happy. I take the multi Vitamins,Calcium,d3 and b12 required. But I also take Biotin, cranberry, probiotic and a anti-inflammatory (which spell check won't let me add). I visited with my aunt last weekend and she was amazed at my face. I had Bells Palsy 7 years ago. I was left with one side drooping and hearing loss. A month prior to that I had sudden hearing loss syndrome. So between both of those, I have pretty moderate hearing loss. I have tried everything they told me to do but hearing and droopiness only got a little better. Also went in for another hearing assessment a week ago. He told me that I was hearing better. Solo I account all of this to having my surgery and taking supplements. Quite a nice side effect I think.

Advice needed on Exercising
Try planning. I haven't done it myself yet but it is supposed to help a lot of body parts firm up. And walk around your house. My dog thinks I am nuts when I walk in place. She barks at me.

Having a hard day...
It is so weird how different our des can be. I was on liquid for 4 days and then we were allowed Turkey, chicken, footage cheese, yogurt, refried beans. At one week we could have veggies and fruits..no skin. I asked my surgeon why the difference. He said there is no proof that going through all the stages makes any difference. He said that they wanted us to get on with our lives. I was nervous but have lost 24 lbs since 8/30.

I geel like I can eat too much...opinions
It doesn't sound like you are getting enough protein or water. I drink at least 64 oz of water a day and have at least 70 grams of protein.

Hernia
I had one too. However mine could not be totally fixed. I'm part of the 5% of people who have some vein in the way..

differing opinions
I was originally to have surgery at banner gateway but had to reschedule @ scottsdale. Was to have clear diet, then full liquid, pureed, soft... But @scottsdale, at week one they want you eating soft and you can start veggies and fruit and 80 grams protein. Tried that yesterday and my bladder has rebelled. Could hardly per today. I think it's too much too fast. I drank water with lemon today. Took a couple of cranberry capsules and went back to broth. I gained 4 lbs! Obviously it is water weight but Suresh!

left side ache
Starting yesterday, I've had this side ache. It's very dull but annoying. I'm one week out.

Giving Up
I think the key is getting enough water.

Anyone else getting sleeved in August?
Had my surgery yesterday. My back was really hurting and I used a heating pad. Home today @ 2:30. Not too crazy about broth and hello. Now I just feel like I have the flu. Surgeon said I had hospital hernia. All he could do is bring my stomach back down. Guess I am part of the 5% who had a blood vessel in the way going to liver. He doesn't think it will be an issue tho.

Sleeve surgery & RLS
Does anyone else have restless leg syndrome? It drives me bonkers & usually there are only a couple of things that help. #1 I take a hot bath at night & #2 I have to take aspirin. Having said that I don't know what to take to help now. Tylenol just doesn't do the job & I know we can't have nsaids. Did it get better for anyone? Oh, I've tried the pharmaceuticals & they make me a space cadet & I worry about safety for me & others who put up with me.Thanks.
