Today is my 13th wedding anniversary and I went out to dinner with my hubby. I wore a new dress size 1x (down from 4x), wore my wedding rings (only recently fit me) and had a lovely time with my man who said I look 10 years younger! What a happy day. I was sleeved 6/25 and am down 40 lbs from surgery and a total of 85 since January. Lovin life! Just in case you wondered I ordered shrimp cocktail and had a few bites of my husbands filet mignon, delish!

July 5 was my one year surgiversary. I am thrilled with my results. 117 pounds down and only 25 to goal!!

This week I am starting 2 have my follow up appointments & I went to the 1 of the doctors 2day. Now when I 1st went I couldnt be weighed on their scale because it only went up to 500lbs & as all of u know I was 526lbs. Well 2day, when he called my name I was thinking omg, Im still not going 2 be able 2 give my weight. So the nurse said just put all of ur things dwn & lets see. So I did & I got on that scale WITH MY SHOES ON & it read 497lbs smh. Yall have no idea, how that made me feel. I know EVERY scale dont go up 2 (500lbs) but I can actually get weighed like a normal person...all I could do is cry. Most ppl dont have 2 worry about that kinda stuff but I do & it made my day 2 see my weight come accross that screen EVEN THO its still alot it came accross that screen & thats ALL that matters 2 me.

I was sleeved on December 28 2012. And I can't be more happy. My starting weight was 330 and as of today I am 267. My goal is 200. My experience was been absolutely wonderful. I can't say I have had many problems. I do need to workout more and stop eating to many whole grain crackers. I just have a need to crunch. LOL. I really just try my best not to over do it when eating. Let me know your story. And if you have some pointers on how I can more weight I am open. Nice to meet you all smooches.

yes yall... I also have already started doing cardio workout etc... not everyday but at least 3 days a week... I figure i can aleviatte some of the anxiety about getting on the scale if i know i am playing an active role in the weight loss.. but hey.. truth is... we did it.. and the weight is gonna come off...!!!

I am currently 123lbs, 8lbs more then what i was when my husband met me! 2lbs less then what i weighed when i got pregnant with my first child and feel great and now, i am expecting! I am absolutely on cloud 9 because even though i know this pregnancy will be a struggle since my stomach is a 80% smaller then when it was with my first, i know that it also will help me from gaining too much. I have actually lost 9lbs since i found out i was pregnant at 3wks 2days! Doctor says ecerything looks great just uped the Vitamins and Proteins and said follow OBGYN orders...so far healthy little babe growing in this belly!

Don't be sad. I am three weeks post op and I do not miss food a bit. In fact, I kind of dread it right now. Making yourself eat after decades of being fat is extremely bizarre.

I have my surgery on Monday. Hospital just called to advise me that I am the 1st case of the day! This feels really real now. I am scared!

I posted about this a few weeks ago. The post was well received and I've referenced it a few times since for people having a hard time with the pre-op diet...
