  1. I've had no problems and I'm almost 5 weeks post op! I haven't been nauseated and I'm losing weight. I'm 40 pounds down .
  2. I am almost 5 weeks post op and in a total of 6 weeks (one week of liquid dieting) I am 40 pounds down! Hard work pays off!
  3. I'll have to try that!
  4. Does tea make anyone else nauseated? I've tried it from different places (unsweetened) and they all make me sick.
  5. Today I had my three week post op appointment and the three weeks plus the one week pre op, I've lost 35 pounds! I'm pretty excited
  6. I told my closest friends and they came and visited me in the hospital! They were very happy for me because they knew how much of a struggle I had been having. Tell the people you trust. I'm going back to school with people I've known a year and I'm afraid they will judge me, but I figured, this surgery saved my life, why not share it with the world!? So, if someone asks, I tell them .
  7. Did anyone else want to swim after surgery? I'm three weeks post op and I want to swim because it's so hot! The doctor says not until week 4, but I feel great! Any suggestions or comments?
  8. The doctor asked me if my tongue was white and it was. He said I was reeeeally dehydrated!
  9. Is anyone having problems with being backed up from all the protein intake?
  10. My first week after the surgery was soooo slow!! This is my second week and it's going by fast! Find something to do

  12. I had my one week check up on Wednesday (5/21) and with the per-op diet and the week after my surgery, I'm down 27 pounds!!! Woot!! Couldn't be happier. I hope everyone that is newly sleeved has great progress as well .
  13. You may not be getting enough protein. My Mom's friend had the same thing happen and that's what her doctor told her. DRINK MORE PROTEIN SHAKES
  14. Where do they sale the imagine food products? Any store?
  15. I'm 23 and I have been chunky all my life. I was always bigger than the rest of the kids, but I never let that stop me. I was in marching band for a total of 8 years through high school and college, but I kept getting bigger and bigger. I had the sleeve 7 days ago and I weighed 457 pounds. It's a tough decision and one of THE hardest things I've ever had to do, but, I would do it all again. I KNOW that the quality of my life will be so much better than it has been the last 23 years. Research more into which surgery you are wanting to get. In 6 weeks, I'll be able to eat everything that my friends eat, but not as much as them. Your portions become smaller and you are fuller faster. I can't wait to hear what you decide to do .
  16. My goal is to be a size 12-14. I'm not wanting to be skinny, I'm wanted to be toned! I'm not worried as to how much exactly the weight will be because I want to gain muscle.
  17. I started at 457, so no need to worry!
  18. Okay! I'll try it!
  19. Hey! Today is my 7th day post op and I can eat creamy soups but I'm picky! Any ideas for good creamy soups?
