  15. Today I had my three week post op appointment and the three weeks plus the one week pre op, I've lost 35 pounds! I'm pretty excited
  16. I told my closest friends and they came and visited me in the hospital! They were very happy for me because they knew how much of a struggle I had been having. Tell the people you trust. I'm going back to school with people I've known a year and I'm afraid they will judge me, but I figured, this surgery saved my life, why not share it with the world!? So, if someone asks, I tell them .
  17. Did anyone else want to swim after surgery? I'm three weeks post op and I want to swim because it's so hot! The doctor says not until week 4, but I feel great! Any suggestions or comments?

  22. I had my one week check up on Wednesday (5/21) and with the per-op diet and the week after my surgery, I'm down 27 pounds!!! Woot!! Couldn't be happier. I hope everyone that is newly sleeved has great progress as well .
  23. You may not be getting enough protein. My Mom's friend had the same thing happen and that's what her doctor told her. DRINK MORE PROTEIN SHAKES
