Hello all just a pick update and just wondering any tips to break a stall. Iv tried upping Protein but nothing as yet just kinda stuck ATM any suggestions would be good
Lost so far 18.9kg (41 pounds)
Starting weight :107kg (235 pounds)
Current weight :88.1kg (194 pounds )
Goal weight : 65-58kg (143-127 pounds)
Recommended (53-69kg (116- 152 pounds)

All was good prior to surgery, but now there is that "wow" factor. Much better that before and I dare say, much better than right after we were married. I am sure a lot has to do with self image! Do y'all agree? We'll Celebrate 34 years next month!

Weightloss made me more sexually which I was before but now I'm more so in heat like a rabbit .. Sex two or three time s a week is good enough for me ..

From my experience.....I can't get my husband off of me. He's like a dog in heat. I swear he follows me humping air. On a side note certain positions are now a little too deep so I avoid that but we've been married 15 yrs I've been waiting for what other couples complain about only having sex like 2X a month. I'm sitting here like what? Try at least 3-4x a week!

How quickly things change...my man is freakin elated. Which also makes me happy.
So I've taken this from "unwanted" to "he can't wait for it"

I am 4 months pregnant and 6 months post op and haven't gained a single pound I am still losing. Don't worry so much about gaining I mean you are pregnant. Take time and be thankful for the wonderful gift you've been given!

Amazing results, thx for pictures. What encouraged me most about it, is that ur still doing gr8 after 2 yrs, woohooo!!

honestly i would just tell people to mind their own business or to "eff" off. My bff at first was unsupportive and i told her she can either get on board or i wont discuss anything about it with her. Its my decision. For me, this is not what god gave me....I made myself this way with no exercise and disgusting eating habits. My body is a temple and i am trying to find the way to take care of it properly. Personally i dont care if ppl at my job know or not. Im not much of a social person at work....i have a close circle of friends here and thats about it. As long as i get a paycheck every two weeks im happy.

Gluttony is a sin, is it not? Seems to me a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy addresses it quite nicely.

I'm still 10 days till my surgery (6/20), but I plan to rock it! To make sure I look cool post-op, I have cool shot glasses for my liquids. You know the standard red plastic cup they sell in the paper plate section of the store? They now have those in shot glass size. At BevMo I found them in a non-disposable hard plastic. So I got a regular sized ones and shot glass size. Nothing wrong with a little party atmosphere!

Today marks 6 months postop. It has not been easy mentally or physically but I'm doing it slow but sure!

When liquid diet started 11/25/12: 315
Day of surgery: 300
Today: 241.9
Im officially down 90lbs total!
Thank you all for your support over these last 8-9 months. I wouldn't have been able to do this without this group or my other online groups. You guys understand what we go through as supportive as my family and friends are and want to be. They still don't get it. Thank you again!

One year from surgery.....
The before photo is me at my heaviest , just over a year ago, while on holiday in Bali. I am the fat chick, not the small Indonesian man, heh.
The after photos are me before heading out the door to hot yoga tonight.

Day 4 pre-op and I'm feeling great!! Haven't taken any meds today, started my Multivitamins and rockin' my liquid & Protein intake. Hope everyone's recovery this month is as boring as mine!

if someone says this is easy i will personally beat the living crud out of them! but it will have to wait till my head isnt gonna pop off....

I see no problem with someone else's before being my after pic. I started at 352 and I'm holding steady at about 120 pounds lost. I've seen "lightweight" sleevers who started at 230 and lost down to the low 100's, but that's not my reality or my goal. I think each of us looks for their own ideal body image. I'm very very close to mine. My original goal was 170; surgeon's goal was 190. I'm comfortable where I am, though, and, while I'm still trying to eat right and I'm exercising, my goal now isn't the number. It's the health benefit and how comfy I am in the body I'm ROCKING these days.
