    Constipation

I had the same thing happened to me. I had to go to Urgent Care. I had impacted bowels and they had to disimpact them. If you haven't gone yet, go to the doctors.

  5. Hello everyone, I am 4 days post op and I'm constantly thirsty. I have a four oz cup and wish I could gulp it all down but I really have to hold back. I sip about medium sips and finish 4 oz in 15 -20 minutes. Is that too much? Will it stretch my pouch? My Isopure takes me about 25-30 minutes. Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

    Piece of cake!

I just had my sleeve on Monday 6/17. I have have 2 kids the pain in having children is the actual childbirth process not the recovery. Recovery from the sleeve in my opinion is only after the first 2 days after being released from the hospital. Basically it was the nausea. But you just have to literally walk it off. I marched in place for five minutes, sat down, sip, burp, rest, and repeat, and that got me through it. No pain meds at home, didn't need them. I'm on day 4 post OP and I'm feeling good. Good luck! I wish you the best.

    3 days post op

Hi Guys, I was sleeved on the 17th as well. I got sent home yesterday. Now looking back I wish I could have stayed another day. I had a horrible night, just couldn't sleep at all. Just a little nauseous, but trying to get my Isopure down and walking around like a loon. I read the first three days are the worst, so hears to sunny dayd beginning Friday. Let's keep the faith and be strong.

    June 17

Hi all just checking in. had surgery about six hours ago. They wheeled me into operating room, next thing you know they are waking me up and wheeling me in to recovery. Asked for pain meds immediately. But just needed to get rid of air/gas from chest. Feeling great, just super thirsty. No liquids for 24 hours.

    June surgery dates

I am scheduled for the 17th as well. My game plan is not to waste my energy on being scared or nervous. I'm just putting the actual surgery out of my mind and focus on getting organized for post op. Sure I'll be nervous on the daddy of but for now I am channeling my energy elsewhere. Good luck!
  12. You are doing AWESOME!! I am doing well. I'm actually not that hungry. But feeding the family is hard. The food is so temping but I haven't cheated at all. I modified the broth to a fish and vegetable brothy Soup, in order to get some greens and more Protein in. I have only lost 8 lbs. But a loss is a loss.
