Does anyone else's Surgeon packet say they have to have their nail polish off before surgery? and does anyone know why that is?

This is super normal Its from all the fluids and gas that they have pumped into you. after my appendix surgery in sept I had gained 10 pounds. which I lost that plus 12 more pounds from complications. Just give it another week or two. It should come off in the next week but everyone is different.

I was going to say both those websites I have mine coming to my house! I can't wait to get them.

I really want to get a Protein shake that is 25-30 grams per scoop. I want i to be a high quality but still at a good price. One that taste good !! AND Suggestions... Go!

I'm having my Sleeve done Jan. 30th !! I'm excited but nervous and anxious.

I'm really nervous about the whole insurance thing. My most concern is being denied. I have PCOS, Pre-diabetic, Hypothyrodism, Insulin Resticance. I did have gall bladder disease and had it removed in emergency surgery last March. I've already been on a Diet since April 13' (this year) with my pcp. I have my first Surgeon Visit in June. And will have 3 classes with Nut and 1 with Psych. I'm just really nervous on the whole Cigna insurance since I've seen people on here its taking them months to get approved.

I'm a Jan 30th 2014 Sleeve!! My surgeon has told us to wait until at least a year before trying to conceive but he would rather people wait 2 years.

How many weeks or months did you have to wait to be able to have "your" date for surgery? I'm just wondering since I see that some people are able to schedule 2weeks or have to schedule for 2 months out.

I've had second thoughts too. But at the same time, I'm at peace with it. So as long as I stay at peace with it then I'm going forward with it. I've been wanting this surgery since I had my Emergency Gallbladder surgery in March12'. I wasn't mentally ready then, now I am ready for my life to change.

I just found out today I am approved for surgery. I didn't think I would be approved this fast, so I'm kinda on edge a little bit. Plus my weight keeps fluctuating 1-3 pounds everyday, which makes me nervous. I started doing a liquid diet yesterday, not so bad. But I'm just wondering what others did to prepare for their surgery? I'm hoping to have surgery the end of this month or the first couple days of February.
