yes but that was your first surgery. I am having to have a 2nd surgery. I wanted the bypass done when I had the sleeve done but my surgeon talked me out of it.

How is it risker ? Also I know the weightloss is slower when we have the 2nd surgery. Did you have a 2nd surgery as well?

Yeah I know I'm just a little scared I guess to do bypass but then I think about it and the long term effects of GERD. I just want it to go away and lose 100 pounds.

I have highmark as well! I have my apt with my surgeon June 15th to see if he will approve me to have the surgery. They really approved it that fast ? Did you have any regain after the sleeve as well?

Has anyone been to see this surgeon? I am looking at having a revision from sleeve to DS. I have Gerd thats really bad and I am at the point of where I throw up when it gets so bad.

How has your pregnancy gone so far? How many days late where you before you tested? I'm a little worried too. I still haven't started my period and I'm 3 days late. My man and I never use protection at all.

I started at my highest 272, and now i'm 251 and I have surgery in 5 days.

I was on Yaz 2 years ago, but stopped it. I wanted to do the implant in the arm after surgery, but everyone is telling me not to do it. And people at work say no don't get on BC, it will make you gain weight. I have PCOS. I do want kids but want to be able to wait until I'm at goal weight for awhile. Which BC do ya'll like or reccomend?

I consider it a concern for your temp to be 99 at all. I had someone who fell and was sent to the hospital on sat evening and they came back and I got there back to work this mormning and they were warm. I took that persons temp and it was 99.9. I told our nurse and she charted it and said to keep an eye out for it. I find that I worry about temps a lot on people. I would call the ER about it and ask them what they think. Yes they might tell you we cant give you any medical advice. But it shouldn't matter they should tell you yes or no to come in since you just had surgery. Which I would just go in and make sure everything is ok.

This is super normal Its from all the fluids and gas that they have pumped into you. after my appendix surgery in sept I had gained 10 pounds. which I lost that plus 12 more pounds from complications. Just give it another week or two. It should come off in the next week but everyone is different.

Does anyone else's Surgeon packet say they have to have their nail polish off before surgery? and does anyone know why that is?

I'm having my Sleeve done Jan. 30th !! I'm excited but nervous and anxious.

I really want to get a Protein shake that is 25-30 grams per scoop. I want i to be a high quality but still at a good price. One that taste good !! AND Suggestions... Go!

I'm a Jan 30th 2014 Sleeve!! My surgeon has told us to wait until at least a year before trying to conceive but he would rather people wait 2 years.
