  1. Go with the Nectar protein powder!! You can get it off amazon for $32 . A lot of sleevers use this and have success with it plus you can use it after surgery since you only have to use water and all the favors they have supposedly amazing. I'm going to be ordering some soon
  2. Up your cardio and weight training and go back to protein shakes every day for maybe 2 wks is what I've heard can help you jump start it again You look stunning !! Congrats!!!
  3. I have the same worries too! If I lose too much in my breasts, I'm deff going to get a breast lift and implants and mise well get lipo too and get any excess skin off.
  4. I actually experienced this after my gallbladder removal surgery last year. I didn't know what was causing it until I started noticing it would happen after I eat certain foods. Real fatty and sugary foods try to stay away from. Don't regret getting the sleeve, it's going to help you. I'm getting sleeved in oct this year and I can't wait even though im nervous as hell. This is really the time to think that hey this is going to help me with my future and be more healthier. Look at the bright side of getting sleeved. ***Stay Gold, Stay Deteremined , Stay You, Stay Healthy***
  5. Oh wow. I'm getting mine locally but was going to fly out to fl like after 2-3wks after my surgery in oct to visit family. But wasn't sure on if anyone had stomach troubles then. Oh and my surgeon already told me that since I had complications with my emergency gallbladder surgery last year that I would at least be staying 2 nights at the hospital. :/ is that normal to be told, that already?
  6. How soon did you fly after your surgery? Were you comfortable? How long of a flight was it? Complications of flyng after?
  7. I'm wondering if anyone on here has used plexus to help loose even more weight post op surgery?
  8. Oh Yeah I know. My last apt with my pcp is sept 30th I'm deff glad that I only have 3.5 months left!! and hopefully surgery in early oct. I lost another pound at my last weighing. so thats good but wish its was more.
  9. So had my first apt today with my surgeon and now they tell me I have to do 6 months of the diet. :/ and they had told me on the phone that I only had to do 3. boo. but oh well At least I will still get to have surgery around the time I want.
  10. My first Surgeon Apt is June 5th This Wednesday
  11. Well I've almost done 3 months with my PCP. And will do 3 more months with the NUT, since I don't want to be sleeved until Sept since at my job its so busy right now. I'm a Vet Tech so the summers I do tons of overtime and more pets will be coming in now than in August and Sept when people are more concerned getting in the mode of getting kids back to school or college. .
  12. What all happened on your first surgeon visit?
  13. Well I have my first apt with my surgeon next Wed!! Im excited and I will talk with my dr about it . And he will more than likely send me to a sleep study.
  14. I hardly get sleep at night and I'm getting up a lot at night. I've had these problems for years but have never done a sleep study. When I was younger I was suppose to have a sleep study but my mother actually refused to take me. So how was everyone else diagnosed with Sleep Apnea?
  15. Ha I can't wait till mine is sent in. I will be calling daily.
  16. Lol I've been wondering this!! I also love sex and am kinky as hell. So I totally was wondering all this lol
  17. Yes we started it In April when I went in for blood work.
  18. I've the policy all printed out now Thank you!! Which I have all that written down for each month and am on my 3rd month. I was looking to have surgery in Sept, but I really want it done as soon as possible.
  19. Well dang I was going to get extensions before my surgery but now I'm thinking not.
  20. Well actually I disagree on this When I was running 5 miles each day for the soccer team and gained 30 pounds within a month that was the worst news I ever heard. I was eating right and Running and doing weights and then the drs ran blood tests and I had hypothyroidism and pcos and pre-diabetic. So really yes weight really can come upon a person really fast. I've struggled with my weight since then and have done tons of diets and weightloss programs and none have worked. so now I'm going for my first apt with my surgeon this june and have already done 3 months of dieting.
  21. Oh there is a Thread for this look in the pre op section
  22. For your Diet did you make a calendar for the whole month and what time you ate what for every day? And did you do a 3 or 6 months of Dieting?
  23. I'm really nervous about the whole insurance thing. My most concern is being denied. I have PCOS, Pre-diabetic, Hypothyrodism, Insulin Resticance. I did have gall bladder disease and had it removed in emergency surgery last March. I've already been on a Diet since April 13' (this year) with my pcp. I have my first Surgeon Visit in June. And will have 3 classes with Nut and 1 with Psych. I'm just really nervous on the whole Cigna insurance since I've seen people on here its taking them months to get approved.
