It's said that sleevers should not experience dumping as much as a person whose had a by pass. Watch your sugar and fat intake. Always keep in mind everyone is different. Should you experience dumping a lot contact your doctor and ask additional questions.

If you aren't experiencing dumping why regret your sleeve?

I actually experienced this after my gallbladder removal surgery last year. I didn't know what was causing it until I started noticing it would happen after I eat certain foods. Real fatty and sugary foods try to stay away from.

Don't regret getting the sleeve, it's going to help you. I'm getting sleeved in oct this year and I can't wait even though im nervous as hell. This is really the time to think that hey this is going to help me with my future and be more healthier. Look at the bright side of getting sleeved.

I'm fearful more than anything because of the unknown, I hear these stories of ppl who experience it and I'm scared! I'm 2 weeks post op on Thursday and I'm feeling so many emotions! I've never felt this vulnerable in my life! I never knew the emotional attachment I had with food till this surgery it's a bittersweet feeling. Thx guys ;)

I'm at almost 8 months out, still get sick if I eat too fast because I waited to long. I don't eat things with lots of sugar or fat....no dumping....

I'm also at 8 months out, and had a similar experience to Sydney above. Sugary and fatty foods go right through me, but it started when I had my gall bladder out several years prior. Since getting my sleeve, I really only get an upset stomach or have indigestion issues when I eat more than 4 or 5 bites of something. Yesterday, it was 91 degrees here, and I was craving watermelon something fierce. I started eating it like I forgot about my surgery, and, sure enough, after about 8 bites, I got sick. Just take it slow, especially in the first 3 months, and you'll be fine. I had buyer's remorse for about the first month, but I could not be happier with my results to-date. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!

the only thing that has ever caused dumping syndrome-like symptoms is spinach... If I scramble it with some eggs for breakfast then eat some for lunch... I am a horrible mess! weird eh? nothing else bothers this stomach of mine...

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
