  1. I was sleeved on the 22nd. I cried almost everyday for two weeks before, and cried until I was taken back to the or. It's scary. My surgeon called me the night before and told me if I wasn't nervous that wouldn't be normal. It's a huge leap. I am five days post op and I keep sitting here saying "wow I did this." Everything will be okay. I was so scared, angry, and I even thought about not going through with it it's only been the five days, but I've already lost 10 lbs, and I'm super proud of myself.

  2. I was just sleeved on the 22nd (5 days post op) so I still have no desire to eat and I'm still on my full liquid diet. However, I will say they made the first good smelling thing today, which was a banana bread. Normally I would hate banana cake but today it looked good. Again, I'm not hungry and food seems gross, but I am already sick of juices, Water, Decaf tea, broths, and Jello.< /p>

  3. Yeah, I know a lot factor into it. I have hope that I won't have too much skin. I know I will have to have my boobs fixed because I have problems with my breast anyways. I am happy to get my weight under control young, but I fear that because if my age I have a long time to fall back unto old habits. Does anyone else have this fear?

  4. Congrats on your new beginnings .. Im not sleeved yet i have my last appt w/nut & meet w/dr on june 6!!!

Thanks! Good luck on your surgery. I was a mess waiting for the surgery, because it was my first surgery, but I'm so happy I did it!

  5. I'm doing pretty good. The gas pains are slowing subsiding. The thing I'm struggling with is drinking all of my meal. I have been walking a lot which helped with pain. The most helpful towards the gas was (I passed gas finally today!) how are you feeling other than gas?
