I was just sleeved on the 22nd (5 days post op) so I still have no desire to eat and I'm still on my full liquid diet. However, I will say they made the first good smelling thing today, which was a banana bread. Normally I would hate banana cake but today it looked good. Again, I'm not hungry and food seems gross, but I am already sick of juices, Water, Decaf tea, broths, and Jello.< /p>

Yeah, I know a lot factor into it. I have hope that I won't have too much skin. I know I will have to have my boobs fixed because I have problems with my breast anyways. I am happy to get my weight under control young, but I fear that because if my age I have a long time to fall back unto old habits. Does anyone else have this fear?

Hello,
I was just sleeved on may 22nd. I am 22 years old and would love to connect with other young people getting surgery. Also, have you hearsay research on less chance of extra skin, because of elasticity in skin?

I'm doing pretty good. The gas pains are slowing subsiding. The thing I'm struggling with is drinking all of my meal. I have been walking a lot which helped with pain. The most helpful towards the gas was (I passed gas finally today!) how are you feeling other than gas?

I was sleeved on the 22nd. I cried almost everyday for two weeks before, and cried until I was taken back to the or. It's scary. My surgeon called me the night before and told me if I wasn't nervous that wouldn't be normal. It's a huge leap. I am five days post op and I keep sitting here saying "wow I did this." Everything will be okay. I was so scared, angry, and I even thought about not going through with it it's only been the five days, but I've already lost 10 lbs, and I'm super proud of myself.
