  1. I had sleeve done Monday. I stayed an extra night due to my white count being high they got it controlled with a shot of leviquin. I too am a day or so behind on the diet and I asked my nutritionist and she said same thing take as slow as you want as long as I get the ounces and protein in me. I just moved to stage 2 today. I tried sugar free carnation instant breakfast strawberry and strained cream of potato soup today and. They were both awesome. Hardest part for me is the small sips or bites. As we all I'm sure ate big ass bites and chugged the drinks. Lol. Good luck
  2. Baby steps. That's all I can think of. I ended up two nights at hospital since my counts were high. I'm a day or so behind on the diet I'm not rushing it my nutritionist agreed to take it slow as long as I'm getting 64 oz of fluids in until I can move along then ill be good. Don't be afraid to ask for pain meds while your there in hospital.
  3. I wasn't required to loose a specific amount. I did loose about 30 pounds from start of nutrition classes through pre op dates. The pre op wasn't that bad I did 5 shakes a day and a very lean high protien dinner with small amounts of steamed veggies and either chicken or fish. Whole meal was 6-8 oz. kept me happy and not over hungry.
  4. I was sleeved Monday in Salem NJ by what I think is a great Dr Kakailaya from Salem Medical Group. I was 252 lbs day of surgery today I weighed in at 240 at home. I had surgery to not only loose weight but to hopefully do away with a lot of back pain that I have.
