Thanks... My brain still doesn't recognize the loss. I always text my mom and say "is this what I actually look like or is the mirror making me look thinner than I am?" Hard to comprehend sometimes!

On week 2 day 2... It's definitely challenging for me! I tried doing outside instead of on the treadmill and it hurt my knees more. Maybe I should stick to treadmill?!

Mine was the same as kindle's. Drain for 3 days but I was SO bloated! Wore stretch pants and dresses for 3 weeks.

Same, I gained too. I was up 10lbs the first week.

We r total surgery sisters! My surgery was on 2/17, my starting weight was 288 and now I weigh 238!

Mexico lol my insurance doesn't cover it and it was too expensive to pay out of pocket at any hospitals in the area. I'm going to Abington for follow up care.

I'm a slow loser too. I had surgery 2/17 and have only lost 20 since then (lost 30 pre-op). But I just keep pluggin away. Was in size 22-24 clothes, 2x and now I'm fitting into 18s and XL.

Make sure u take them with food. I've found that all bariatric vitamins make me sick. I bought centrum flavor bursts. They taste great and I don't get sick from them.

I use Opurity vitamins.

I had the same concern when I went last month. I didn't even lock it up I just left my purse and suitcase in my room during surgery I had no problems.

I have the same problem but I looked at my eating habits and I haven't been getting in enough protein. I increased it this week and dropped a pound. How r u doing with water and protein intake?

My heart goes out to u and your sister! I just went to the OCC by myself on 2/17 and had a great experience. The drs and staff r fantastic and u will meet ppl both at the Marriott and at The OCC to befriend. I don't regret my decision at all.

Really I have to remind myself not to compare. I lost 18lbs in 5 weeks. I've never don't that before and that is great! Other people may lose faster, but they will experience stalls too. I'm wondering of I'm eating too many carbs. Having a hard time because I am away for business for an entire week so I am probably eating more sodium and far than usual. I also have to remember this was not a quick fix or a miracle weight loss thing, it's merely a tool. And if I don't eat my protein first or eat too many carbs or don't drink enough water or don't exercise, then I am not using the tool right. It's a learning process, that's for sure! I'm getting back to the basics...drinking isopure and protein shakes when icant get in all my protein for the day, getting in my water, etc.

I'm training for a 5k in May. I started doing the C25k running plan and it has really helped! I am 240 and 5'5". Hoping to drop more weight as I continue to train for it I was sleeved a month ago.

I wore the tank top one that you wear underneath your bra. I bought it at Walmart for $12, it was my last purchase after surgery! I wish I'd thought diet before my surgery.
