  1. I get on the scales every morning. After I reach my goal I will get on the scales every single day! In the past I could gain weight so stinking fast so I feel I need to weigh every day so if I'm up a pound I can deal with it. I feel it's easier to be up a pound or two and get that back off then weight a week and be up 5 pounds. I've had that happen before I had surgery. One week it might be 5 extra pound then the next week a couple more. So yeah I'm gonna weigh every day so maybe I can keep on top of it.

  2. Oh yeah I tried medifast and at about day 5 I started cramping all over. Leg cramps and my stomach muscles were constantly cramping. Thought I needed more salt but that didn't help so I added a banana to my diet every day and still had constant muscle cramps. So I went off medifast. I couldn't live with muscle cramps plus most of the food they sent me tasted horrible! I wasn't on it long enough to loose much weighty but I lost plenty of money on it.

  3. My cousin told me she was looking into getting surgery but that she eats very little. I've heard her over the years say that she only eats once a day and she doesn't know why she is so big. I would guess her at 400 lbs or more. I told her since she doesn't eat much and the goal of surgery is so we can't over eat then maybe she needs to speak to her doctor and see if she has a medical condition causing her to be heavy since eating to much isn't her problem. I know why I was so heavy. I ate and ate and then ate some more. I'm glad I knew why I was heavy so I could find a solution unlike my cousin who has no idea what her weight problem is from.

  4. I didn't get blood blisters but where they put the bandages and then the little strip things around my insition I had big blisters and the whole area was raw. Like I had also been burned. It was so painful. Way more painful then the actual cuts. I'm 9 months out and you can still see where the bandages were.

  5. I'm almost 9 months out and have lost 136lbs! Only 12 more to reach my goal of weighing 170. I'm sure I can do it by my 1 year anniversary. If I lose more then that I will be happy but I think being realistic about my weight has helped me. I have always been overweight so weighing 120 sounds crazy to me. That's why I picked 170. Plus I have lots of loose skin now so I can't imagine how bad I would look if I lost a lot more weight. My main goal is just to be healthy and feel great.

  6. Im hoping my insurance will pay for that.. my surgeon seems to think he can word that so it will be covered.. siting infection because of the excess skin and risk of bacterial growth lol he is good.. I sure hope he can do it.. then it wont cost me much at all..cuz heaven knows Ive met my deductible this year already lol.

That's great! I was self pay for the sleeve so I've been saving like crazy for a Tummy Tuck.< /p>
