    The good news is....

I am so lucky - I hate dark chocolate, now if it were milk chocolate, i'd be all over it. Amanda, is this you're cruel streak coming out?? Posting pictures of food??
  5. Congrats on the earlier date - try unjury, it's mail order, but you'll need it for after surgery too and GNC has Isopure, clear liquid flavored protein, w/40g of protein

    Seriously? Does everyone exercise?

I too have a healthy hatred of exercise - I think it's because my husband is a long-distance runner. I can't imagine running unless something awful is chasing me. Anything that involves bouncing is just not going to happen - all that jiggling, and loose, hanging body parts could hurt someone. I have a stationary bike that I had to change the seat on, because for some reason, bike seats need to be able to supply ouchy wedgies. After I lose 20 or 30 lbs. I will join my husbands gym - but it ain't gonna be pretty.

    GOING HOME! :)

    Happy Healing!!
  8. If you find that your insurance company won't work with you - self pay. Have you talked to your therapist and primary care physician?? Just remember, this is not a magical surgery, it's a tool. If you read alot on this forum, you will find that this is not easy, you may be asked to do a two week liquid diet to reduce your fatty liver - you have to follow the surgeons instructions to a T. If you want this bad enough, you'll figure out a way
  9. NO NO NO - I don't want my feet to get smaller - I bought,OK went a little crazy with sandals this year, and not the cheap ones, they are all 8 1/2s - I really thought i'd have them for the next 5 years. I am going to have a massive yard sale next summer
  10. If I had insurance that paid for Bariatric surgery - I would need to do the sleep study even though my husband tells me I stop breathing at night. I know what you mean, my BMI is 36 also
  11. If I may ask, how old are you? I'm an older woman so I don't have the urge to wear a bikini in public. If you are in the bikini appropriate age group, I would definitely try for the one incision

    Collarbones

If I really really believe, ( and work my sleeve) maybe I will have them too!!
  13. I vow that I will ask my surgeon what I can and cannot eat/drink for the first 6 weeks.

    Support Groups?

There is another one called gastricsleeve.com - it is basically the same as this one - i've found stories I can relate to on both

    Tomorrow OMG!

I think learning to work with the sleeve will be harder than quitting smoking. I just quit 7 days ago - but i don't know whether I have to do any liquid diet - I hope not, I have read everywhere on this forum that it just sucks

    Carbs are the devil !

That's right !!! Not all carbs are evil - what is evil is white sugar

    Wild Ride

Welcome Kimberly - you will love these forums, everyone is very supportive
  19. Congratulations on feeling good about yourself - that's what this surgery is all about - feeling good again
  20. Truthfully, I think the OP posted in the first place so that some one would tell her NO - none of these posts were snarky or mean, I did not give my opinion because although I know that OP needs a mental health professional. I guess I may have been meaner than you guys
  21. Thanks for the update - now, go back to bed
  22. Supplemental insurance is a good idea - i'll look too - if I find something i'll post it
