  1. I have zero problems going out. There is always something I can eat. The other night I ordered a side salad and grilled chicken. Some people say their doctor doesn't allow salad. I was told at my 6 week appt that I can anything I want. I will ordered a cup of chili, sandwich and eat the meat, cheese, veggies. Get a taco and eat the I inside. You will find people judge on here and tell people to eat only at home. I didn't do this surgery to be a recluse. I eat healthy but enjoy my family. I'm off all medications for blood pressure. 203 to 160 Size 20 to 12/14 depending on store. I'm short 5'1
  2. Traveling Feel amazing. It's awesome to not feel the urge to snack the entire trip.
  3. I'm traveling from Texas to Ohio right now and I stopped at a convenience store and bought a turkey Swiss sandwich and ate the meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I was only able to eat half of the insides. Breakfast I found boiled eggs at the store and watermelon. I love turkey jerky pieces. I eat 8 pieces. 100 calories and no carbs!! Tons of protein.
  4. I may be interested in the future. As of now I just don't see myself ever going with school starting. What's it like? I've wondered if it was worth it.
  5. I ordered my size the day I went. Wedding is in November so I know it will have to be altered. The lady said it can be altered 5 sizes! I hope she's right!!
  6. Awesome!!! This gives me hope. My belly looks very very similar to yours. I'm 6 weeks out and I can see it shrinking. Yours has gone right back into place.
  7. Hey guys! I had my 6 week check-up today. I was cleared to eat anything I want. That is very exciting but very scary at the same time. I know that it will be a challenge to stay on track. I can see why people gain their weight back or don't lose weight. You have to be in the right frame of mind to do this. It would be easy to eat ice cream, chips, cookies, junk etc... I am in it to win it!
  8. I am lucky. I have never had anything that made me feel sick. I am 6 weeks and was cleared today to eat anything I want. So, tonight I enjoyed a thin pork chop and tiny salad.
  9. I'm doing wonderful! Will be 6 weeks on Wednesday. Down 41 lbs, 162!!! My dad is 56 and was so negative to me about the surgery. Now, he is scheduled for August 27th!! He changed his mind real quick when he saw how great I was doing. Just remember what drove you to want the surgery to begin with. Pray about it and do what your heart tells you! Good luck
  10. Here are my pics so far! I have a ways to go but very happy! 203 to 163 Sleeved July 19, 2013 This was one week ago at 5 weeks.
  11. Maybe we will see each other
  12. Taste* Yes, I drink it straight. The bottled ones are premixed. You can purchase it in powder too. I like the thought of having a big bottle for school and knowing that if I get it down at school it's 40 g of Protein down. That way when I get home I can relax and enjoy dinner and have to drink anymore protein.
  13. I love it! I use it and nectar. To me it takes like strong kool-aide. Go to a GNC or Vitamin shop and buy one mixed bottle. $4...see what you think. I've had the isopure mango peach and fruit punch and enjoy both. Nectar - strawberry, lemonade, (I mix those sometimes to change it up) peach tea is good too!
  14. I'm a teacher too! Assuming you are with the name. My plan is to take yogurt and stock my mini fridge for the week, 2.6 oz tuna packages, stick cheese and lunch meat to make wraps. I'm going to try and drink a 20 oz Isopure throughout the day for 40 g or Protein. 36 bottles for $75 online. That will last 6 weeks of school.
  15. Your taste buds will be completely different after surgery. I will eat things now that you could have never convinced me to in the past.
  16. Hi! I was sleeved June 19 by Dr. Nick Nicholson at victory medical in Plano. I've have a great experience and loving my sleeve. I hope to make a meeting sometime.
