  3. Aloe Vera. I has it really bad. You can buy aloe vera to drink. Works so well. Good for you.

  11. Watching the news coverage of Hurricane Sandy today I noticed that Governer Christie had not lost all that much weight. He had the lap band in Feb 2013. No judgement here. Just something I noticed
  12. Started soft food yesterday. I month post op. found Jack Daniels shredded pork. I never eat per-packaged meats but I have to say this was really good and a treat! I was able to eat 4 oz in a 35 minute period. 19 Proteins. I am trying to get my proteins from food. Just thought I would share.
  13. The first week us so tough. Bored and in a little bit of pain... I sat in my hotel room in TJ, MX thinking of everything I could not have. I never got truly down but I spent a lot if time thinking about food. What I could not eat I kept reading over and over this forum. Of all the people who are truly happy now. Trust me it helps. One month later and so far I can eat most anything. Just in small quantities

  16. 1 month post op. getting sick of Protein shakes I can eat soft foods but find myself drinking a shake a day to get in all the protein. Any suggestions on any good tasting Protein Shakes?

  20. I ate it almost 3 weeks out in my puréed stage and it went down so easy. I did not eat the crust. My biggest treat yet. I have village inn. Yum
  21. Hi there. I has mine done by Dr. Garcia at Florence Hospital on 9/28/2013. As I type thus I realize that is not the same hospital. Lol. There is a self -pay Mexico board here that is very helpful. You can also put the hospital name in the search bar. Best wishes on your journey
