Silly question- do you just eat it off the spoon or do you put it on something? Is it "satisfying" eating it off the spoon and does it give you a "full" message? I too would be afraid that 1 would lead to another and just a bit more. Just starting per-op today so won't need to worry about that for a bit! Surgery on the 24th.

That is soooo awesome!! I so so hope for those kinds of results!! I know for sure I wouldn't qualify for insurance coverage-I'm 130 lbs overweight but totally healthy AND we are switching insurance July 1st so that gums that up. My sister just lost her insurance so we decided self pay was the way. Totally researched everything and am very comfortable with the whole situation. I live off 78 just past the fairgrounds on Slayton Settlement. My son is good friends with Ele Eckert-whose family lives on Reger. I would love to pick your brain sometime if you're ever available for coffee...(or a Protein shake!).

Greetings from Lockport!! I hope that's close enough! My sister and I will be heading to Mexico on June 23 for surgery on the 24th. I will be spending my 50th birthday in San Diego. We are both very excited-and hopeful that we will be heading for a more healthful life.

23 for my sister and myself! I've been so wrapped up with the end of the school year it hadn't occurred to me that our flight out was so close!! I was packing away winter clothes today and my husband was joking that every time we pack away clothes we can never find them again-I told him that was fine-since they won't fit by then!

I really can't even imagine-24 to a 6!! My date is June 24th and I turn 50 on June 27th! I'm very excited and can't believe that this is even remotely possible!! I had truly just decided that " this is it". I'd lost and gained and lost and gained since I was 10years old-and the gain always brought more back with it- uggg! Can't wait to see the possibilities and totally ready to work it! I love the information and commraderie on this site-thanks everyone!!

We are scheduled with Cabrera and Valenzuela at Mexici Bariatric Center. That's who my friends daughter had and both of them couldn't speakly highly enough about how great the experience was for them.

It's official!! My sister and I are scheduled for June 24! Nervous anticipation, but excited! I always thought "this is just they way it's going to be" but God had other plans! I had never even considered WLS when by chance a friend of mine shared that she was going o Mexico with her daughter this past March-we have followed her very successful journey and decided to do it! I will turning 50 while we are there-so "a new life, a new beginning!"
