Its hard to do here in TX this heat kills me. I am going to try a video early in am and see if I can maintain that until fall. Good luck fitting it in. My life is chock full and it is hard for me to find that time for myself.

I'm 5 2" and I was just sleeved on July 26th. I have been having some problems and gained 17 lbs in Water weight while in the hospital. I have been home since July 31 st and I have lost all that and I'm down 3 lbs pre op plus I'm still swollen so I'm hoping to get better numbers soon.

I'm not letting my husband Google it! Right now he is fixing me an egg several mornings a week. Those days will be long gone once he knows an alternative Protein source!!!

I've never been one to swallow but this morning while performing oral on my husband I was gagging and extremely nauseous. I couldn't help thinking how embarrassed I would be if I vomitted on him.
Who knew getting sleeved would affect my life in so many ways.

LOL....the things I read on this site crack me up! I'm just three weeks from surgery so much to my husbands dismay, have not partaken yet. I can't wait to try and log this into MyFitnessPal!

Do you know about how many oz your stomach can hold right now? If so, just say "Honey, I need you to ensure you will not ejaculate more than XX oz. I hope you understand." haha

I am 16/17 months out and am the same.
Regular periods every 24 days lasting about 3 days (some months really heavy sometimes really weak). I still have facial hair but it is less and takes longer to come back.
Have lost over 170 pounds and feel a whole lot better about everything.

I have PCOS, I haven't had a period on my own for probably over 10 years! I had surgery Sept 14th and have lost 86 pounds. December I got my first period ever on my own without have to have it induced my medication. I have never been so excited to get my period in my life! It was so bad for me though, I had to stay home from work for 2 days because of how weak I was and bleeding so bad there was no way I could function at work with having to go to the restroom every half hour! It lasted about 5 days, only 3 which were super heavy and bad. Then in January I got it right on schedule and it was not bad lasted about 3-4 days nothing like the one before. I haven't really had any of the other issues like Hair growth. I just get a few stray hairs on my chin that are really coarse and I pluck them. They haven't stopped coming in though But surgery has def helped get my periods back. My husband and I have been married a little over a year and before this I could not get preggo. Neither of us were married before or have any children, so this in itself for me is worth the surgery. Give it time, I hope this surgery works for all your PCOS like it did mine

I have PCOS as well. I'm 3 months out and i've lost 56 lbs. I have noticed a small decrease in the Hair growth and I actually started my period this week! (on my own - no meds - for the first time in 6 years!)
Most women aren't excited about starting, but as you ladies well know, it doesn't just happen for us. I just want to be normal! VSG was the best thing I've EVER done for myself!

I was sleeved on July 26th at 8:30 am. I was doing great in recovery and during the change over to my room. It wasn't until later in the day that I had the breathing guy come into my room to talk to me about how to use the Breathing device when he saw that my heart rate was 135. He called the nurse and they check my blood pressure it was 90/60! I felt fine and was confused what was happening the surgeon came into the room and paced for a few minutes thinking. The nurse rolled me over slightly and found that I was bleeding heavily from my drain. It was at that time, 8:30 pm 12 hours later, they rushed me back into surgery. That surgery took just over 3 hours. I had two blood transfusions. The doctor had cleaned all the blood from my gut triple checked every stitch and staple. He found where one of the vessels that had been attached to the portion of the stomach they removed had popped its stitch and that was why I was bleeding out. The next morning I passed my swallow test and began Clear Liquids. No problem. My heart rate had dropped to around 90 and my blood pressure was much better. They checked my blood levels and they were low so they gave me a shot to help that. They checked my blood levels the next day and they were borderline. My surgeon asked if I wanted another transfusion and I left it up to him. The order came through for me to get two bags. It took 6 hours and another night in the hospital. That night I was so full of energy I didn't sleep well. They checked my blood in the morning and I found out I was good finally! My heart rate had dropped to normal range 70-80 and my blood pressure was perfect! I was able to leave the hospital after 5 nights! I have been home for three days. I figured out last night that I also have thrush and must wait until Monday to call the doctor and yesterday I noticed my right foot had swollen double in size. I was told by the nurse to remove my compression stockings and call today to let her know if the swelling went down. It didn't so she checked with one of the doctors and I am now back on my Water pill until Monday. I'm very thankful I have been able to overcome all these obstacles with the grace of God and I haven't had anything as serious as the first day! I'm moving around better and I have no problems keeping liquids down. I feel truly blessed and so thankful I have a great husband who helped, worried, and prayed for me the whole time.

I'm so glad you're Dr was able to locate and correct the problem! How awful for your husband! He must have been beside himself! God was in your corner.
