I dump with it but it does taste good.

I know how you feel. The first sneeze hurt like hell and made me feel like I was ripping something. Coughing hurt the first week but now it's not hurting. As for hiccups, I get them when I am full and they hurt but not as bad as sneezing.

I am down 23 pounds from surgery day!

I'm doing great fergie. I get to start full liquids today, so I'm hoping some Protein speeds things along. Still in pain at times. I'm still sleeping in the recliner. I'm trying to branch out, but Water is still my fav. I go on Tuesday to get this drain out, I'm hoping that will be a turning point also. How have you been doing? I have been doing awesome. Sleeping in my bed is heaven. I am still on Clear Liquids until I go to my 1 week appointment Thursday. I have been taking short walks and they get longer everyday. I am almost off of my pain meds and my incisions look great. No bruising but they are tender. My mother in law li jealous that I am recovering faster than what she did.

How is your recovery going? I am excited to hear from another 20th-er.

Honestly you will not want to change into pj's. You will want to stay in the gown. I promised that I would put on my undies but I didnt feel like it. I only used my robe and chapstick.

I too had surgery on the 20th and have been nauseous yesterday. But I took zofran and it kicked it in the butt. But it gets better. My nurses were surprised that I am doing so well. It gets better. I promise. If you wanna have a buddy just let me know and I'll talk to you!

I had my first dumping experience on Apple juice. It's in my week 1 post op diet. I diluted it it made me dump big time. I even drank some in the hospital. It's the most uncomfortable feeling in the world.

Everyone will do great! Being nervous is normal but you can do this!

It's so nice to hear that your doing well! I am home as well but very sore. Just try to burp and pass gas and you will feel so much better afterwards.

Surgery went well. Took longer than expected. Had a leak test today and passed now in on clear liquids. The pain is about a 5 and so is my dizziness. I can use the bathroom on my own and walk. But I drain all over the place.

Monday is coming fast! I have to check in at 11 am. This is getting so real. My mother in law will be staying with me because my husband is deployed right now but she is 3 1/3 years out from her bypass. I am sure that I'll be in good hands. Everyone is being super supportive.

I have extra panties, grippy socks, my robe, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toothbrush and paste, hair ties, brush, gas-ex strips, phone and charger and that's about it. I am wearing the clothes that I wear there home. Oh and a pillow with a hot pink pillow case so I know it's mine.
