  1. I gained 5lbs after switching from all liquids to blended...skipped pureed stage...them stalled for a couple of weeks....then startd losing consistently. Surgery on May 22...43lbs down now....It'll come off try not to worry to much
  2. I'm aware it was my choice to have the surgery and I reviewed the different types for 3 years before committing. Unfortunately, nothing could have prepared me for what would occur post op. (Sleeved on the 22nd). I'm down 27lbs and I honestly could care less. I truly miss food...when I'm hungry I want to eat not sip. I feel like if I see another broth/ soup I will off myself. Seriously, I do not see this getting any better. Plus, I fear the puree stage will look like baby vomit. Everyday I wake up praying I'm normal but come to the realization that I'm not and never will be. I just wish I was completely happy again BC I'm miserable.
  3. I too have strayed! Its ridiculously hard and every morning I wake up wishing this was the day I could just be normal again. I was sleeved May 22 and am town 25 as of yesterday...losing 1lb per day. I can't seem to sip that crap any longer though my diet does mainly follow my surgeon's I have began to try things from the next stage. Yes, other surgeon's diets are different. I didn't know this to be the case or I would have been selective regarding this when I chose. Most want be brave enough to say yes I cheated. And those that did are in fear of hearing all that posted above. What's so different about someone else's sleeve regarding yours yet they are immediately allowed certain foods. Just pray about it and be smart about what you put in your mouth. You'll be ok
  4. It will I cried up until Day 8 then it all got easier! You can do it just keep trying!!
  5. Cannot drink regular water it feels awful! Prior to surgery I regularly drank 8-10 glasses! I miss it so.
  6. Hello All! I had my vsg on the 22nd and today is the first day I haven't cried. Lol. I'm down 12lbs since surgery for a total of 22lbs. Finally got under 260. Lawd! Yes, I wish I could chew food but finally it is settling in that I did this for a reason so I must ride the ride. Today, I hit the elliptical and managed to get almost all of my protein in...next step getting water in! I hope all you May sleevers are hanging in there and hopefully we will all reach goal healthy and together!
  7. Hate to hear that...keep your headbup and I hope you feel better
  8. I had my sleeve done on May 22nd and I wouldn't repeat this if I could have viewed what it would be like afterwards. I regret it fully. It won't even be worth it when I'm a 100lbs lighter....which would put me at 164 as of today. Yes, I miss food. Mostly, I'm annoyed I could die by eating a sunflower seed. This is crazy. Should have done 3 lean and greens. Its to late now so I'm dealing with it. Lastly don't be offended if someone post something you do not agree with. Seriously, its called freedom of speech.
  9. I'm on your level entirely! But I must admit I'm not anywhere as sore as I was yesterday. Also, I got 1 1/2 shakes down....and the scale says I'm down 17lbs since pre-op with 5lbs from date of surgery. Missing the food is getting easier with those lbs dropping!! Hang in there!
  10. Hello all!! From hell I swear. Sleeved May 22nd....home now and feeling dehydrated, nausea, and I think I got to full on 4 oz of cranberry juice. Feeling horrible. Walking etc but feeling overly stuffed and bloated
  11. Sorry if you were offended. I wish you luck but everything I said was true. Getting denied by your insurance was not a political issue...it was a paper work issue. The world is always looking for someone to blame. Just check yourself. Again Good luck!
  12. Getting sleeved in the morning. Hungry as all get out and can't wait to not feel hungry. Lawd! (-; Good luck to all! Hw 281 Cw 268 Gw 150
  13. Obama care??? Omg. Look it's up to you to provide the supporting documentation showing you've been obese for greater than two years. You have to ensure you have all your ducks in a row. If they cover it...just ensure you've met the requirements. Tell your mom to get her head out of the mud.
