My VSG Journey began last summer when I tipped the scale at 260 after returning from a family vacation at the beach. I began diet and exercise and lost 20 pounds. After hitting a plateau for several months, I started researching WLS...I had VSG on May 6 and am down 23 more pounds. So, a total of 43 pounds gone so far. My goal is still about 50 pounds away but DANG I'm closer than I was!!!

Hello everyone,
Just stopping by to post some before and after pics. I'm still 7 lbs away from goal but I'm totally happy I'm not where I used to be. I give all Glory to God because without Him none of this would be possible. It's been a long journey. My advice to those who are just starting would be to hang in there, your day will come. God Bless you all!!!

I had surgery Monday, 6th, too!! In Huntsville, AL. So far so good, just feeling tired and stomach discomfort.
