  1. I don't make it a habit of pawing through my own emesis, btw, I just was surprised to find solids in the bag after 3+ weeks of nothing solid.
  2. So, I was instructed to take one of my extended release pills, the evening before 08/05 surgery. Wellbutrin XL 300m for those keeping track. So this afternoon, I had what I can only guess was 'the foamies' after swallowing the last sip of some juice (probably twice the size of my other sips-I've learned that lesson). For those with a weak stomach, stop reading. I had really bad nausea post-op, and threw up for about the first 24 hours, but hadn't thrown up since then... So, much to my surprise, there was something solid in the emesis. At first I assumed it was an anti nausea pill I had just taken, but that pill I had broken in half, so it was the wrong shape. I still had barf bags from the hospital, and that is what I had thrown up in, so it was transparent. It was a round pill. Well, with a lot of ab soap, hand sanitizer, and bravery, I squished the pill, and most of its contents came out. This was a pill I had taken 6 days ago, mind you. I retrieved the capsule, googled the labeling on it, still very clear and legible btw. The pic I took wasn't very clear, but the pill's coating still was. Could this have been the cause of my vomiting, or was it just the larger sip?
  3. Italian ice sounds yummy.
  4. How did you ever get all of your liquids down?
  5. 6:45am tomorrow for me.
  6. Nope, saw that post when I searched. That wasn't it.
  7. I've searched through these threads, trying to find a wholesaler who sold the large torani bottles for 4 each. I had a website, but can't find it any more... Does anyone know the site I'm thinking of?
  8. Laying in bed, thinking of doing my vlog, and realizing I need a script!
  9. I'm considering plastic surgery after I lose 175 lbs for the loose skin, not anything else, really... How much would something like that cost outside of the good, old us of a? Ho much would it cost in the states?
  10. Do you like that recipe book? I've been looking for one.
  11. I remember a puréed recipe post a while ago... Does someone have the link, or could they bump it? Tanks!
  12. How close to 2 tbsps do they typically hold? I can check when I get home, but I thought I'd check to see if anyone has already done the work.
  13. I'm totally at peace with the surgery - the scary part for me was the liquid diet, and that's almost over.
  14. It probably no longer counted as a clear liquid, but I still ate it, after shipping, the stuff is $2 a serving.
  15. I promise. This was literally the most terrifying part of this process for me, and now I only have 5 days to go, of 17. You all can do it. This is from a guy who weighed 375 lbs. it doesn't even take a ton of willpower if you get enough Protein in... It is doable. Ie been out to eat with family, gone to a potluck, and picnic... You can do it. Yes, I want it to be over, I just wanted to encourage you all! Good luck.
  16. I used to drink at least. 2 liter of diet soda a day... I don't drink any anymore. Sometimes it isn't convenient, but I'm probably a better person for it.
  17. I was making my son dinner tonight, and he asked for ranch dressing. I got him some, and accidentally spilled some on my finger. I stuck my finger in my mouth, without thinking... Ptuey, I spit it out about a second after I realized what I had done.
  18. Suck on a piece of hard candy, see if that helps. Non-sugar free, like a mint.
  19. Lost 20 pounds since I started the pre-op diet!
  20. Does anyone's nut's/surgeons have a really good phase 4 eating plan? (IE 'normal' foods). My nut laid out phase 0-3 very clearly, but phase 4 just basically says, you can't eat much, so eat healthy... I prefer a 'bit more structure. Any thoughts?
