  1. The camelback eddy has a straw, but the way it is designed, you only get a tiny bit of air on the first sip, after that, no air (or negligible) at least.
  2. This is going to be super hard for me. I've found that for sipping, a camelback bottle (I forgot the model) helps a ton, and you don't get air, because of how it is made, but eating slowly is going to be tough... Real tough. I've ALWAYS eaten fast, as the youngest of three boys, growing up pretty poor, I had to eat fast, otherwise it was all gone (not really, but you get the idea)... I've only got 35 years of the habit to break, but it is going to be a difficult one to break.
  3. Just wondering if someone overbought or just doesn't like it.
  4. I had my my first sample so far, and is the only Protein powder I haven't choked down so far.
  5. Well, I'll actually be doing Clear Liquids until August 20th, but I figure after the surgery it will be easier
  6. Man, I am jealous of you low-carbers. This liquid diet is gonna be tough.
  7. Never mind... I'll just find some boullion granules and 'spice them up' I guess.
  8. And it is only 10-20 cents a packet. Shame to waste the noodles, though. (No, I must stop thinking like that!)
  9. Any thoughts? Shaken, stirred, food processed? Just hot water, chicken broth?
  10. A LOT like it, actually. Pretty expensive, but not horrible at 1x day. 49 grams of Protein, no sugar.
  11. Who has all started their liquid diet? I started mine Friday around 9pm. A few days early so that the worst is behind me before working on Monday am.
  12. How does it shrink your liver exactly? On my ultrasound report, it was stated there was 'fatty liver infiltration'. Will 2 weeks be enough? Yeah, I know, this is A question for my NUT, Surgeon, or Nurse, but they're not on here And this community answers much faster
  13. Just wondering, variety would be good.
  14. Now sure, it has only been a day and a half, but I'm actually surviving this... Being at work will be the real test on Monday, but all I have to do is make it 'till August 6th, then my surgery will happen... Protein is helping a ton, and I'm not TOOOO HANGRY! Is anyone else on the liquid diet right now and doing myfitnesspal? I'd like to see other people's menus.
  15. Lisa, I'm sorry I never responded to this... Yes, the K2 O was what I was talking about - and the gatorade with protein in it. I found them in a Hy-Vee grocery store in the health food section.
  16. I'm so excited for you! Congratulations! I can't wait 'till I can say that!
  17. I've heard some of you talk about the Camelback Edda for sipping with no air bubble issues. I bought one for work and one for home, so we'll see how it goes!
  18. That typo in the title is going to haunt me
