  1. You may also see these labelled as soy nuts. They were the mail reason I got protein at months 3-4 or so!
  2. I personally waited until mushy foods. Just concentrate on liquids during your liquid phases, trust me, that alone will be tough
  3. I'm six months out and I can eat a hard shell taco, and that's about my limit... Seven ounces seems impossible right now.
  4. These are my family's new pancake recipe. My non-op wife loves them, and my 5 yr old son can't get enough of them! We make the. On the weekends, I add a splash of vanilla.
  5. I'm about 10 weeks out, and I just don't feel like eating lately - anything except for greek yogurt and sugar free popsicles... Any other suggestions on what to 'eat'? I can't cope with Protein shakes.... Maybe I should go back on soft/mushies...
  6. Has anyone made this? What's the consistency after it is baked?
  7. Does anyone have a tracker they like better than myfitnesspal? Why?
  8. Does anyone who is at goal ever regularly use a bar or a shake as a meal replacement?
  9. Or the heat of the water?
  10. I had their scrambled eggs this am, well, about 1/8th their scrambled eggs, but in my defense. I did have a 7am procedure about 1/2 hour from my home. They were fine.
  11. The small ranch wrap with no tortilla is under 100 calories, good in protein. The scrambled eggs are good in protein. McDonald's can be sorta healthy if you do it right.
  12. Fire your pcp. If they are not on board now, how do you know they will be after the fact.
  13. My advice is to just follow the first few pages of the 54 page bariatric surgery document to the letter. Cigna is really fast with approval/denials, though it may not feel like it right now. Just do exactly what they want, and you'll be fine.
  14. My team believes I have a stricture, so I'm having a dilated endoscopy to fix it... Now, I think I'm freaking myself out, but a -dilated- endoscopy makes me think they're going to stretch out my sleeve, rendering less effective... I've read too much 'advice' thanks to google... Is anyone a ways out, and had to have a dilated endoscopy, and is still losing/have lost all of their weight?
  15. Maybe I'll try some of that, too.
  16. Chopped up, or whole leaf?
  17. Premade like Arizona iced tea, or something like that?
  18. Crystal lite (even diluted) is too sweet, powerade zero doesn't do it for me anymore, water is the most tolerable thing right now, and that isn't very tolerable. I hate mio and the cl 'drops'.. What else are people drinking besides water? Gatorade is way too sweet, also.
  19. Excited to be posting in the post op thread... I know this is a stupid question, but I just started purées, and am having some difficulty telling when I start to feel full. Ay thoughts?
  20. Is there a website or a piece of software I could -easily- add separate ingredients, specify a serving size, and get the nutrition info?
  21. For heartburn? I've got some of those, and docs approved em.
  22. Doc won't be in till the morning, so can't check with his office. No dairy till next tue. Maybe an extra calcium citrate?
