Dilated endoscopy...

My team believes I have a stricture, so I'm having a dilated endoscopy to fix it... Now, I think I'm freaking myself out, but a -dilated- endoscopy makes me think they're going to stretch out my sleeve, rendering less effective... I've read too much 'advice' thanks to google... Is anyone a ways out, and had to have a dilated endoscopy, and is still losing/have lost all of their weight?

I've not had one... But there are many people that have had them. They are not really stretching your stomach. So please don't let that worry you.

They are simply opening a passage that has been all but closed off due to scar tissue forming.

How do you feel your stricture?
