I personally waited until mushy foods. Just concentrate on liquids during your liquid phases, trust me, that alone will be tough

I'm six months out and I can eat a hard shell taco, and that's about my limit... Seven ounces seems impossible right now.

I'm about 10 weeks out, and I just don't feel like eating lately - anything except for greek yogurt and sugar free popsicles...
Any other suggestions on what to 'eat'? I can't cope with Protein shakes.... Maybe I should go back on soft/mushies...

Has anyone made this? What's the consistency after it is baked?

Does anyone have a tracker they like better than myfitnesspal? Why?

I do sword fighting' date=' battle gaming, work in my yard and garden, yoga, biking, hiking, swimming, rowing, just any activity, stand up paddle boarding, also I have now visited probably every museum, art gallery, walking tours, bayou hikes, etc...and groupon and similar places offer discounts to events too. There is a trend right now for themed 5k runs and charity activities.[/quote']You're a larper, or sca?

Thanks for the insight I am afraid my PCP won't cooperate with my documentation so seeing that I am a RN I figured I will read every note before he submits themFire your pcp. If they are not on board now, how do you know they will be after the fact.

My advice is to just follow the first few pages of the 54 page bariatric surgery document to the letter. Cigna is really fast with approval/denials, though it may not feel like it right now. Just do exactly what they want, and you'll be fine.

My team believes I have a stricture, so I'm having a dilated endoscopy to fix it... Now, I think I'm freaking myself out, but a -dilated- endoscopy makes me think they're going to stretch out my sleeve, rendering less effective... I've read too much 'advice' thanks to google... Is anyone a ways out, and had to have a dilated endoscopy, and is still losing/have lost all of their weight?

I agree on the Propel Zero. I love it, it's the only one that I don't have to dilute with Water. All the rest are too sweet!
Maybe I'll try some of that, too.

I am going through the same thing. My taste buds change all the time. I can't do those "sweet" unsweetened drinks either. Right now it's plain water' date=' occasionally G2, and mostly Water with lemon. I make a big pitcher of Water, add sliced up lemons and a few limes and some ice. It is delicious! It gets more and more refreshing each day! Try it and let me know what you think![/quote']I'll try the lemons, limes. If sf Powerade is too sweet, sweetened Gatorade will be, too.

Excited to be posting in the post op thread...
I know this is a stupid question, but I just started purées, and am having some difficulty telling when I start to feel full. Ay thoughts?

Is there a website or a piece of software I could -easily- add separate ingredients, specify a serving size, and get the nutrition info?

Gas X strips!! Several if needed. For heartburn? I've got some of those, and docs approved em.
-
Doc won't be in till the morning, so can't check with his office. No dairy till next tue. Maybe an extra calcium citrate?

I forget and can't find it in my post-op intructions' date=' she says as she has already run an delicious bubble bath. I am 24 days out and look to be healed up.[/quote']I took one this am, 5 days out, just dripped Water slowly on the steri strips and patted them dry.
I'll tell ya what, it was within my docs restrictions, but even if it wasn't, the amount of... Humanity it made me feel would have been worth it. Though I'm a scardey cat and wouldn't go ama.
Again, your sug, doc, nut, nurse, Lpn, Lrn, cna, may vary, but it was freaking wonderful!
Sushi/sashimi/handrolls.

You may also see these labelled as soy nuts. They were the mail reason I got protein at months 3-4 or so!
