hey i get Dizzy and sick too when I don't eat part of the reason I find dieting so hard. Think its something to do with blood sugar levels. My sis faints when she goes on a diet.

Lipgloss, I agree what the hell happened to our summer, nothing but rain. At least we'er not missing out on the Skimpy clothes as no one can wear them. Do go to your consultation, it really will be worth it. Imagine this time next year in skimpy jeans and a vest top, thats if its not raining! So gettin nervous about tomo.

Hi Lipgloss, You'll need 600 euro. I'm glad i paid the deposit as i would have backed out. I booked so many consultations and backed out. Hi Lipgloss, I had my consultation on the 21st of may and my op is the 23rd June. I had the deposit with to get my bloods done on the day so that helped. Dini, I can't belive its nearly here less than a week. so so so excited are you?

Hey why don't you all swap clothes? mad Idea but I'm sure there are women out there that bought a nice dress for xmas party or something wore it once and now its to big. I bought a load of clothes in Ny in march and they're going to be too big on me soon (decided on the band when i got home) so I'm going to give them too my mam. She's Delighted as the clothes are in mint condition as they're fairly new. Save people constantly buying new jeans they're growing out of in a couple of months.

Take them as sick days, I strongly belive holidays should be taking as holiday days. You might feel like a week off soon to show off your new figure. My date is saturday coming and i'm off saturday and sunday and hope to be back in monday. If i don't feel up to it I'll ring in sick but I'm sure i'll be fine. You could ask your surgeon for a note if you do go over the three days and tell him when you think you'll be able to return to work.

probally depends on the doc and also the patients current weight and diet. i have a fairly good diet as it is. i just eat way too much of it.

Hi all, I have my op on the 23rd of june. My surgeon didn't mention a diet and infact told me i'd never be on a diet again. Lucky me. However he did tell me to make healty choices with food and to treat myself a couple of times a week. But no calorie counting. I'm eating everything now. Only one week left till surgery. can't wait to start loosing weight.

I'm 24 and have been pondering on the idea of getting it done for about a year if not more. have my date booked for the 23rd of june. Only wish i had of got it done last year! Anyway this time next year i'll be slim again and i can get on with enjoying my 20's and 30's and 40's.......actually the rest of my life! its an expensive procedure but I'll get my monies worth.

does any body know what size band acs uses or does he use different sizes?

Hi all, This is my first post. My operation date is June 23rd. I'm so so excited can't wait to get started. My doc never mentioned a pre op diet and reading this thread is the first i've heard of it. Since i've found out about the op date i've been eating anything i can get my hands on. Think i've actually put on weight! Its great to have support too, alot of people at home very againts the band. My mam thinks i'm crazy because of the money but i reckon she'll get it done too when she sees it working. anyway thankyou all very much, this site is great!!!!!!!!!
