    Calling All April Sleevers

I had my surgery on 4/12 and I'm doing great. The occasional pain every now and then if I stretch wrong. Doc told me I could go on solid but am waiting another week or so because of selling still making it a lil hard to swallow solid food. Other than that im great. Walking 8 miles a day with a HR monitor and a 20 pound vest. Haven't weighed myself yet, not going to for a lil, I do not want to become dependent on the scales. Glad to hear that your doing well, keep up the great work

Also, for anyone out there that is still sore/hurting. Remember, the more you walk/move around the faster that hurt/sorness goes away. I was walking 2 miles the days after surgery

    ANY APRIL SURGERIES?....

Had my two week post op appointment last Friday. I am doing great, he told me I could go straight to solids but I'm going to wait another week or so because of the swelling I have, kinda hard to swallow solid. I'm back to walking 8 miles a day while wearing a 20 pound vest, and once a week I wear my sauna suit along with it just to sweat out any toxins that my body has in it. He also released me to go on full blown without sessions that I will be staying this week.

Be sure not to take in to much protein if your not active enough for your body to burn it. If you are very active then that much is great. I'm back to walking 8 miles a day do I try to make sure I get 70-80g protein daily, also if you are not able to get that much down at once, blend a tablespoon of penut butter in it and that will add a boost to the protein

I used Dr. Todd McCarty at Lakewood Weight Loss and Wellness in Dallas. He is a very good Doctor. Very caring, compassionate and takes his time in getting to know you. Is also a nationalist and is really good with setting diets. He put me on a 1,000 calorie a day diet three months before my sleeve and just from that and walking 8 miles a day I lost 58lbs. I am now two weeks out from surgery and going for my first post opp appointment this Friday.

    ANY APRIL SURGERIES?....

I had mine on April 12th. Doing great so far, as of now I'm walking around 2 miles a day. Only problem in having is that I'm still on the clear liquid diet and feel well most of the time. I go on soft food after I go for my two week check up on Friday. Then I'm sure my energy Lvl will go back up and I can go back to walking 8 miles a day and working out without feeling like I am completely drained.
