  1. Hi all! I'm going to be starting the puree stage in a few days. Do any of you have any tried and true recipes? I'm sure I will get sick of puree'd chicken if I don't have any variation LOL
  2. I haven't checked lately, but I was sleeved 9 days ago....and as of Sunday, I was only down 7 lbs. LOL
  3. Hi all, Today and yesterday I've been having some problems. Not terrible, but never fun. I guess it's what you call "dumping" syndrome, the only thing is I haven't introduced anything new to the diet yet and I've hardly had much to "eat". In the morning, I'll have some yogurt or pudding...maybe a little bit of a Protein shake. Then, I take my meds all cut up (the same ones I took before the surgery). I have been getting nauseous after that. I'm guessing it may be better now to spread out the meds through out the day instead of all at once. But, it didn't do this last week (I had my surgery June 10th....8 days ago). Has anyone else had 'dumping' issues while on the full Fluid diet? Could I just be getting sick of the same fluids? LOL I don't know what it is...
  4. Hang in there! No pain is a huge bonus The nausea should subside within a week or so
  5. Mmmm....I'm still on the liquid diet. Anything else right now looks gourmet lol
  6. I didn't have a bellybutton incision. But, I would imagine that area would be especially tender. Did they not do it lacroscopically (sp?) for you?
  7. My daughter (who is 7 yrs old), came up to me one day and said, "Mommy, they were calling you fat." It's something I've had all my life...even when I was a kid and I wasn't fat! I definately relate...it is hard.
  8. So, I guess that means I can't drink them LOL
  9. This may be a weird question (lol), but is Diet Snapple decaf? I have a bunch of it here, and want to drink some. But, I know everything needs to be decaf, and I can't find anything on it saying if it is or isnt?
  10. Wow! That is opposite of what I've been reading here LOL. I've been loosing hair lately before surgery...so I sure hope my hair begins to reverse and grow like that
  11. I was thinking about you the other day and wondering how it was going! So we're in the same boat. Are you still swollen? Any pain?
  12. You're well on your way!! That is awesome! So happy for you! Keep up the great work!
  13. I was sleeved on June 10th....(7 days ago), and I'm down 7 lbs. I feel like I'm slower than I should be I guess it could be the swelling and all? I don't know...
  14. I was just wondering the same thing? That's the first I heard someone being on clear liquids for so long and so long for full liquids? Do you have other health issues also maybe? I would think your body would need the protein right now to heal...but, I'm not a doctor, so what do I know LOL
  15. I had it done on June 10th, and it's not horrible...but, it is still noticeable (and tender to the touch)
  16. How long does the stomach usually stay swollen?
  17. are you exercising daily? I'm trying to get an idea of how everyone is doing it (I was sleeved on June 10th)
  18. No worries I had (still do lol) a ton of questions too! It's why we're all here! If you go to your account and profile, there is an option to add it there.
  19. Not yet. They told me walking first (which I've been doing)...then at about a month I can go back to the gym. Looking forward to that!
  20. I'm feeling ok It's still sore a little on my right side, but it's getting a little better everyday...thanks!
