  1. Good to hear it's fairly normal! Good job everyone!!! Seems we are on the right path Keep it up!
  2. I'm 3 months out now, and down 42 lbs since pre-op. I find that I am down ONE size since then! Is that normal? LOL Loosing 42 lbs, quite a few inches...and only down one size? Are there any others out there like this too? It just seems usually more people are down at least 2-3 sizes after that?
  3. I take one, 10,000 mcg pill a day. But, still getting hair loss
  4. I had it when I was about 7-8 weeks post op and it was fine I just ordered the kids sized portion and didn't even finish it...lol
  5. I took it when I got my period because I always end up in the fetal position that time of the month! Once in a while it should be okay...just try not to do it all the time But, of course, check with your doc.
  6. Great ideas, thanks! I thought about getting jerky or a beef strip, but then I worry about the sodium. Has that been an issue for you?
  7. I lost a male coyote lol (why not female? maybe they're smaller? lol)
  8. What do you normally eat for a small snack that is low in calories and high protein? I'm hungry, but I don't want to eat too much...
  9. I weigh myself in the morning too....but the same thing happens like with what you mentioned! In the morning I weighed 202. After my nap, I weighed 200 LOL Go figure.
  10. Here's mine http://pinterest.com/ladylaura75/bariatric-infofoods/
  11. I've been dancing between 200 and 202...can't wait until my body quits fighting it and goes down there! LOL Congratulations
  12. I hate the plateaus. I've had a couple so far that lasted about 2 weeks at a time. Now, I finally made it to 200...and I step on the scale this morning and it tells me I'm at 202 again! Grrrr! In one day?? LOL *sighs* So frustrating. Hang in there! It has to drop at some point (that's what I keep telling myself anyway lol).
  13. I ask my nutritionist every week if I can have salad again LOL For some reason, I'm CRAVING it! But...like they said above, it's one of the last things introduced I'm 3 months out today, and I still am not cleared for it...
  14. I remember saying the same thing! It's funny how you miss chewing, isn't it? No worries...it will be here soon and then you can chew food for the rest of your life again (but yeah...I miss bread too! Now I use crackers with my tuna and such and it helps though )
  15. I eat about 5 oz for a meal, 3 times a day. If I get hungry in between I get something small, like string cheese or something. But, I've had days where I get hungry every 2 hours...
  16. I can stop after one slice of pizza or a piece of chocolate. For me, the "forbidden foods" have always been an issue. So, knowing I CAN actually have them once in a while helps me not feel so depressed or like I want them more. Everything in moderation...
  17. So glad I'm not alone in this! I see a nutritionist and she is always telling me to just listen to my body and nourish it. She says what's wrong with having one Oreo cookie once in a while? Or even a piece of dark chocolate? Obviously, can't eat it all the time..but, her point was to start getting in the mindset that this is a lifestyle change and that the thoughts need to change too. None of us can live the rest of our lives in a "diet" mentality, so allowing ourselves to have that piece of chocolate, or slice of pizza or whatever once in a while is okay. It's just hard to change that thought process in the moment. But, I guess with practice we can do it
  18. Is so hard! I find myself getting back into old thoughts and habits when I was on a diet before. I'll eat something and feel guilty. I can eat 3 oz of chicken and an artichoke, and feel bad thinking I ate too much. I know I'm not eating a lot, but I feel like when I do eat (and I do try to eat only when I'm really hungry), the guilt kicks in and part of me wants to just not eat at all. Does anyone else struggle with this too?
  19. I'm 11 weeks out and not quite to the 100's yet. I'm soooo weighting (pun intended!) to get there But, I'm starting to get into size 16 now and XL shirts. It's nice to be able to start to buy off the racks again! It's been so long! My bra hasn't gone down much though...LOL I'm wondering how much it will 2 more lbs then comes Onederland!! Bring it on! Awesome job, Celina! Keep up the good work
  20. Yes! All the time! I'm about 2 1/2 months now too...and between my throat and my tummy it's like an orchestra LOL It gets really embarrassing when Im out in public
  21. Yoplat makes a really good frozen greek yogurt popsicle....the vanilla and honey tastes like ice cream. I lived off of that for a couple weeks LOL
  22. Disneyland is really good for healthy options now. I see yogurt and such everywhere there! Also, they are REALLY accommodating if there are food allergies or any dietary special needs. I would just ask the waiter or waitress, or at the food counters and they can probably suggest something or even blend it up for you!
  23. I've stalled for a little over 2 weeks now, and I'm about 2 months out too. It seems to be common around this time for some reason. But, your weight loss so far is amazing! In 3 weeks you went down 41 lbs? (maybe partly pre-op too?) Our bodies are probably adjusting and not sure what to do lol If you think about it, it's not possible or healthy to just drop...drop...drop...drop, etc without it stabilizing at some point (at least that's that I keep telling myself ) Hopefully soon we will both have more results! Hang in there!
  24. I'm still hungry a lot...and still struggling with snacks. My NUT tells me NO snacking and only 6 oz of food, 4 times a day. I don't know how it's possible, but now when I snack I feel guilty
